Welcome to CaseMaggi! Have fun with the family or friends at this fully renovated beach house style apartment. Poets Bay is a spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with open space kitchen/dining/living area, laundry room with washer and dryer, and a terrace with lovely sea views over Poet’s Bay. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 children. We are walking distance to beaches, the port, and restaurants. The ferries to the Cinque Terre are at the port. The space The apartment is located in a group of buildings on a short street that quickly turns into a foot path, above via Garibaldi. At the base of the buildings is a small, private parking area that can be used only to load and unload bags by car or taxi. The building and apartment are accessible via stairs (see Guest Access). BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms: - master bedroom with king size (180x210cm) bed, view of the seaside, and a private bathroom, plus a large desk with an international power outlet for those who need to catch up on work or studies while enjoying Portovenere. - second bedroom with two single beds (can be merged into a king size 180x200cm), a view of the seaside, and a small desk with an international power outlet for those who need to catch up on work or studies while enjoying Portovenere. - third bedroom with two single beds in a train style format where they are pulled down one above the other with a ladder for the top bed. There is a second bathroom (with shower) is in the hallway. On request we can provide a portable child’s bed (for infants/toddlers) and a high chair. BEACH ACCESS There is a public stairway to the seaside just up the road on via Garibaldi. PARKING Parking is not included. Portovenere permits street parking, with an hourly, daily, weekend, or weekly fee. See “Getting around” below. We can provide additional parking information on request. Guest access Guests have access to the full apartment and the small private terrace with small table and chairs. STAIRS/NO ELEVATOR There are external stairs (approximately 20 steps) to the building entrance. There is no lift/elevator. Those with limited mobility may have difficulty without assistance. Parking: It’s best to come without a car in the summer season as parking can be difficult at peak times LOADING/UNLOADING AREA: There is a small parking area for taxis or guests’ cars to park while they load and unload bags in front of the building. Overnight parking is reserved for the building’s residents but there is no problem using this space briefly to load and unload bags. As there are elderly residents in the building who depend on access to their cars, we ask our guests to kindly limit the time they occupy this small area. SEASIDE ACCESS There is a nearby public-access staircase to the Olivo beach. Other things to note Registration process Please provided your identity documents prior to arrival. Parking: Parking can be a challenge in peak summer months in this small town. If you can come by train it’s easier. Portovenere has three zones for street parking: P1, P2, and P3. The zone near the apartment is P3. In the summer months it’s pretty full so you may have to park at the main parking lot at the entrance of the city, called Golfo.
