There is private pier (May-Oct) great for fishing & swimming, fire pit for s’mores & hot tub. Outdoor dining area w/ Weber grill & propane. Inside you’ll find 5 bdrm, 3 bth, ping pong, board games & a well stocked kitchen. Take in the beautiful lake views & make the best memories! As your host, I am happy to assist during your planning & stay! The space The home is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom property with a covered outdoor area (hot tub and dining set) as well as a 2nd story outdoor area that is accessible via the primary (king bed) bedroom as well as through an outdoor staircase. Our outdoor areas are perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful lakefront views. Location: The lake house sits on a private gravel road with limited neighbors. We are near a main county road that is expanding its bike lane. We are also near Adams County Castle Rock State Park where you can launch and dock your boat as well access a public beach and playground. There is no boat tie off or parking at our pier. First floor: Kitchen (well stocked, including coffee and tea bar), dining room (main table seats 10 plus additional 3 at bar top table), living room, 2 bathrooms (1 tub/shower combo & 1 shower) and 3 bedrooms (2 queen beds, 2 twin beds + trundle). The first floor is perfect for spending time enjoying a meal, soaking in the lake views or playing board games. If traveling with small ones, we have a variety of baby equipment to make your stay more comfortable. Second floor: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (shower and heated floor!). Both bedrooms have access to the upper deck. Basement: TV area and ping pong table. Play Station 3 console with 2 controllers and games. There is laundry - washer and dryer - in the basement utility area that is available for guest use, we provide a starter supply of Tide Pods and Bounce dryer sheets. There are also 2 locked owner storage areas in the basement. Nightstands in the home have outlets located on the top or rear of the stand - no need to search for an outlet. Black makeup towels provided for makeup removal. Accessibility information: There are approximately 12 steps leading up to the 2nd floor and the same amount of steps leading to the basement. The entry into the home has 1-2 steps. There are steps from the grass lawn to the pier. For the wintertime, there is salt in salt dispensers if needed during your stay for the sidewalks or driveway. Please note, the pier is removed during the late fall, spring and winter. For the littles: Pack n’ play for your use. Mamaroo swing, infant bathtub and picnic blanket are in the hall closet on the first floor. High chair is located in the kitchen pantry. We are licensed and permitted through both the county and health department. Guest access All 3 levels of the home are available for guest use except for 2 locked owner storage areas in the basement. All outdoor space is for guest use. The lake dock can be used for swimming and fishing. No boat tie offs or parking are allowed. Please stay off the roof. Sorry, no fireworks please! Other things to note Local area fun includes pontoon rentals (10 minute drive from the house) - be sure to check out our guest book for suggestions. High season rentals book out, we recommend reserving early! The pier is accessed through the backyard. There are approximately 7 steps down from the grass to the pier. The lake is sand bottom, perfect for swimming. The lake dock can be used for swimming and fishing. No boat tie offs or parking are allowed. We keep a variety of inflatables in the garage for guest lake use. We have beds to sleep up to 13 guests, we do not allow parties, events or unregistered guests on the property and ask that you do not invite additional guests. There are two Ring cameras on the property - mounted over the driveway and on the side entry door and faces out to the side yard. Ring cameras are motion activated.
