Other things to note Security Deposit "hold" (waived for guests who have 10 or more positive reviews: (average 4.8 or higher) This Security Deposit "hold" of £100 is required for all bookings via a valid credit card in the name of the main guest. This can be made via our "Boarding pass" link on the day of arrival prior to your check-in time. This security deposit "hold" will be released automatically to your card 48 hrs after departure. The deposit "hold" will be released in full, subject to: 1) No damage to the apartment, furniture or any items in the apartment: damaged, stained or missing. 2) No smoking, no vaping, no marijuana in or in the vicinity of the apartment: (including smoking out of the windows) 3) No noise after 9pm: To ensure a peaceful stay for all our guests we have a “No-Noise after 9pm” policy that means we ask for all guests to ensure that after 9pm there is no loud music or loud social gatherings in their apartment. 4) No illegal activities or use of any illegal drugs including N20 gas 5) No excessive cleaning being required, the apartment should be left in a tidy and respectful condition on departure. 6) No cause for security or police to attend 7) Return of traditional key cards if issued (£5 per card) We've found this deposit is now necessary as we've been seeing an increasingly large number of issues with parties, alcohol, drugs, noise, smoking and associated damages by not having it in place. Unless there is a material value of deposit, a certain minority of our guests do not adhere to the house rules and it becomes a party building with disruption for other guests. We're now finding all Manchester city centre apartment hotels and Airbnb's are generally asking for a deposit. The ones that don't are getting targeted by the rowdy party crowd and we don't want those guests staying with us. This policy has created a much quieter and hassle-free stay environment for our quality guests which we hope you'll enjoy and appreciate :)
