You’ll love the fabulous location of our family run B&B! Fabulous views of Loch Ken/river Dee. Stunning countryside set within the beautiful Galloway countryside. Abundance of water activities, fishing, hill walking, cycling and much more. Fantastic base for stargazing! Galloway has been designated as a Dark Sky area by the International Dark-Sky Association, the first in the UK! Friendly hosts, super comfy beds & fabulous Scottish cooked breakfast. The space One of our rooms "Loch view" has patio door access to our garden. Small seated patio area with views of the Loch. This is shared with our garden, so our pets may come and visit! Our rooms have King size beds that can be used for single occupancy, for 2 people as a King bed or for 2 people as a twin. Just let us know when you book, reduced rate for single occupancy so just let us know. Guest access Access through gated entrance into courtyard. Courtyard has motion detected camera. Access through courtyard door into guests breakfast area. We also have another exit through main door and guests will be given a key for this along with their room key. During your stay Robert is a very passionate coarse match angler. When he is not busy cooking breakfast he will be found somewhere on the Loch fishing! He is more than happy to give advice and recommend some good fishing sections on the Loch. He also has a small tackle and bait shop on site. Other things to note We are a family run B&B with 2 friendly Jack Russell's "Tia & Gigha" and a tailless Ginger Tom cat "Sydney" We are a 1 minute walk from the local pub, food is amazing! Run by Michelle and her team, food is locally sourced and cooked to order. Highly recommend and advise booking in advance particularly in the summer months.
