Pretty stone house of 2 levels on vaulted cellars on the edge of the medieval village of Joannas in the protected perimeter of the castle. Exceptional location between Joannas Castle and Logères Castle in the Ardèche Mountains National Park. The house is located at the top of its private 1000m2 lot which gives it a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside and the Joannas pond where ducks lead a quiet life. Accommodation capacity up to 2 adults and 2 children. The space Living room dining room kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower cubicle, 1 independent toilet and 2 bedrooms upstairs: one with double bed 140 plus one with 2 single beds 90. No car passage, house is accessible by a cul-de-sac. The 1000M2 garden provides direct access to the hiking trails that run throughout the area. Joannas is a small quiet village of 300 inhabitants. You will find 3 bowls for the pétanque and 1 for the lyonnaise. Every Saturday night in season, a local market settles in the village square. A short drive away is the river La Beaume which flows into the Ardeche a little further. Going down the Beaume by the small road of the gorges there are many beaches at the edge of water reservoirs and small waterfalls. Refreshing swimming guaranteed in crystal clear water. There is even in the municipality of Joannas minutes from the house, a secret and well hidden corner in nature where at the price of a small descent between the rocks, you arrive at a natural bowl located under a waterfall in a green setting. Paradisiacal Corner to See and Swim Under the Waterfall. The house and its garden are independent and for your sole use. I live in the adjoining neighboring house and not overlooked. I'm available to host you or if there's anything you need. You will enjoy hiking opportunities such as the Tanargue tour, the Beaume and up to Largentière, village visits with unspoiled architecture. Many sporting activities are possible in the area, canoeing, horseback riding, climbing, etc... not to mention gastronomy with generally organic local products. Largentière is close to its shops and famous weekly market that extends into the streets of the village. Cultural life, fauna and flora... to discover for a good holiday. Notes: The garden is not fenced, take into account if you come with your pet. Precautions are taken for the safety of children: Window handles that can be removed from those that may present a risk. Plug shutters. Safety gate at the top of the stairs. Gate to limit access to the only part of the garden relatively flat and close to the house. Swimming is not allowed in the pond.
