Beautiful 2-level stone house on vaulted cellars on the edge of the medieval village of Joannas in the protected perimeter of the castle. Exceptional location between the Château de Joannas and the Château de Logères in the Monts d'Ardèche National Park. The house is located at the top of its private 1000 m2 plot, which gives it stunning views of the surrounding countryside and the Joannas pond where ducks lead a quiet life. Sleeps up to 2 adults and 2 children. The space Living room, dining room, kitchen, 1 bathroom with shower cubicle, 1 separate toilet and 2 bedrooms upstairs: one with double bed 140 plus one with 2 single beds 90. No car passage, the house is accessible by a cul-de-sac. The 1000 m2 garden provides direct access to hiking trails that run throughout the region. Joannas is a small quiet village of 300 inhabitants. There are 3 boules courts for petanque and 1 for lyonnaise. Every Saturday night in season, a local market is set up in the village square. A few minutes' drive away is the La Beaume River, which flows into the Ardèche a little further away. Going down the Beaume by the small road of the gorges, there are many beaches on the edge of the reservoirs and small waterfalls. Refreshing swims guaranteed in crystal clear water. There is even in the town of Joannas, a few minutes from the house, a secret and well hidden corner in nature where, at the cost of a small descent between the rocks, you arrive at a natural basin located under a waterfall in a green setting. Heavenly corner to see and swim under the waterfall. The house and its garden are independent and for your exclusive use. I live in the neighboring semi-detached house and not overlooked. I'm available to welcome you or if needed. You will enjoy hiking opportunities such as the tour of Tanargue, Beaume and up to Largentière, visits to villages with preserved architecture. Many sports activities are possible in the surroundings, canoeing, horseback riding, climbing, etc... not to mention gastronomy with local products that are generally organic. Largentière is close with its shops and its renowned weekly market that extends into the streets of the village. Cultural life, fauna and flora... to discover for a good vacation. Notes: The garden is not fenced, please take this into account if you are coming with your pet. Precautions are taken for the safety of children: Removable window handles on those that could present a risk. Socket shutters. Safety barrier at the top of the stairs. Gate to limit access to the only part of the garden that is relatively flat and close to the house. Swimming is not allowed in the pond.
