Guest access You can use the two communal pools at the retreat. You can reach the communal Lingga pool after a few hundred meters down the hill. The second communal pool is located in the central part of the retreat, you can reach it after walking 600 meters down the hill from your cabin. You can book your activities via the Sumberkima Hill lobby approx a 600 meter walk down the hill. You can use the two restaurants of the Sumberkima Hill retreat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Suma and Senja restaurant. You can reach Senja restaurant after approx 450 meter walking down hill. Suma restaurant offers fusion food and has a panoramic view overlooking the hills and the bay of Sumberkima. Senja Restaurant is our Indonesian restaurant with colourful sunset views behind the volcanoes of Java, overlooking the Barat National Park. It is also possible to join a yoga class at Sumberkima Hill retreat, you can book it via the lobby. The Yoga pavilion has a perfect view of the shimmering blue Bali sea. Or book a traditional and healing massage and beauty treatments at the Sumberkima Hill spa. The Lobby at Sumberkima Hill has a laundry service available. Diving and snorkeling is one of the activities you can book via the Sumberkima Hill lobby. A dive instructor, who is also involved in our reef restoration project Metamorfosa and is an expert on the local underwater scene and can come to your cabin to discuss your diving wishes. You can also book a taxi via the Sumberkima Hill lobby, for instance service is available to bring you the the beach at Pemuteran for IDR 75,000/way. During your stay You can contact the staff of the cabins for any questions you have on the spot. A whtsapp number is shared with you to contact the reception, for instance to organise a trip, make a spa or massage appointment, book the free shuttle or to contact both restaurants. You can find experience cards in every villa which contains things to do in the area. For expenses made at the villa, you can pay cash or via our credit card machine suitable for master and visa card. Other things to note Sumberkima Hill Guest Agreement GENERAL Sumberkima Hill is a private villa retreat where you can enjoy the privacy of your own villa, supported by a range of services. Unlike a standard resort, Sumberkima Hill feels more like a village. Each villa is unique and individually owned, and most come with a private pool. Some budget options share a communal pool. Please note that due to the individual ownership of villas, switching accommodations upon arrival is usually not possible. BOOKING The payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined below and shall be binding on all guests, whether or not a booking form is signed. RATES Rates are based on occupancy by 1 or 2 guests using one room. Additional guests or the use of extrabed rooms will incur a surcharge. Children up to 2 years old stay free when using a baby cot or sharing a bed with parents. Baby cots and a highchair are available free of charge. All rates are in IDR and include government taxes and service fees. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable on arrival by cash or card (Visa/Mastercard). Charges for on-site services are quoted in IDR. INCLUDED / NOT INCLUDED Included in the rate: - Normal use of water and electricity - Tea and coffee - Housekeeping service (on request) - Trash disposal (on request) - Minibar restocking (on request — items consumed are charged separately) - Fresh water: If your accommodation does not have a water filter, a refillable gallon of drinking water is provided on request Housekeeping Policy: To respect your privacy, housekeeping is only provided on request, free of charge. Please notify us one day in advance if you’d like our team to clean your villa. Service hours are between 08:00 AM and 15:00 PM. If no request is made, our team will reach out after 5 nights to offer cleaning, fresh towels, or linen changes. Excessive cleaning required upon departure may incur an additional fee. Not included in the rate: - Beverages from the fridge/minibar - Breakfast, lunch, and dinner CANCELLATION POLICY • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. • Cancellations made 60 days or more before arrival are fully refundable. • Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival are non-refundable. • Refunds will be processed upon request, with any applicable transfer fees deducted from the refunded amount. CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT • Check-in: from 15:00 • Check-out: before 12:00 noon, unless otherwise agreed OCCUPANCY / NUMBER OF GUESTS Guests must provide accurate information about the number of people staying in the villa. If more guests arrive than stated in the booking, Sumberkima Hill reserves the right to refuse entry or charge additional fees. All guests must present valid ID or passports upon check-in for registration, as per local regulations. COMPLAINTS If you experience any issues during your stay, please contact our Front Office immediately so we can resolve the matter as soon as possible. SOUND POLICY Due to the hillside location, sound carries easily. Please be mindful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evening and early morning. NATURE & ENVIRONMENT You are staying in a natural environment where insects and small animals like cicaks and geckos are part of the landscape. The surrounding scenery will vary with the seasons — expect lush greenery during the rainy season (November to May) and drier landscapes from May to November. ANIMAL VISITORS As part of our natural setting, you may encounter harmless local cats, dogs, or chickens during your stay. They are friendly, part of the surrounding environment, and sometimes wander into villas or communal areas. If you prefer not to be visited, our team can help gently guide them away. We ask that guests treat all animals with kindness and respect. In most villas it is allowed to bring pets, but not all owners allow this. Anadditional fee for cleaning might apply. DAMAGE, LOSS & THEFT Guests are responsible for any damage to or removal of villa inventory during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, furniture, decor, appliances, linens, and other items belonging to the villa. Missing or damaged items may be charged after checkout. We kindly ask guests to treat the villa and its contents with care and respect. SAFETY & LIABILITY Sumberkima Hill is located on a hillside in a rural environment with natural features, public village roads, and varying levels of height. While we take great care to provide a safe and well-maintained environment, guests remain fully responsible for their own safety, actions, and personal belongings during their stay. Please exercise caution when using stairs, pools, paths, uneven ground, and other natural features, and take care when enjoying any of our facilities. Children must be supervised at all times. By booking and staying at Sumberkima Hill, guests acknowledge and accept that Sumberkima Hill, its owners, and staff cannot be held liable for any injury, accident, illness, loss, or damage to persons or property, except in cases of proven gross negligence on our part. Sumberkima Hill is not responsible for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or actions of third parties. Thank you for choosing Sumberkima Hill.
