Centrally located private room with private bathroom, 7 min walk to Skytrain, 1 min walk to bus stop, 30 min transit to downtown. Room has a queen bed, walk in closet (can use 1/2), and great mountain views! There's no kitchen access but there is free Wi-Fi and free street parking. Need to exercise caution when moving suitcases up and down the staircase to avoid causing damages. I don't provide 24 hours service but will respond as soon as I can. The space This is the house my family and I live in, it's very spacious, modern, and quiet. We have a very environmentally friendly and clean household so we ask that guests turn off lights when you're out for the day and sort the garbage and recyclables as indicated in the house manual found in the room. The private room is connected to a private bathroom that has 1 sink and a tub. The bathroom connects two rooms with sliding doors, but there isn't anyone in the other room so it's a private bath. In the room there is a dresser, night stand, walk in closet, and a desk with chair in the room. Note, there is no TV in the room and there's no AC in the house so it can get quite hot during the summer months. The staircase's hardwood is very soft wood, so guests need to use caution and lift suitcases up to avoid damage. Guest access In the house guests will have access to their private room, private bathroom, and all the common spaces like the living room, dining area and kitchen area. There is no access to the office, basement, deck, or master bedroom. There is also no access to the washer/dryer and guests are not to use anything in the kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee machine etc). During your stay I mostly keep to myself after the guest has checked in but am available to provide recommendations and insights about what to do in Vancouver and how to best get around the city as well as highlight some good restaurant options.
