Battle Mountain Inn #1: The Fort
This is your chance to stay in a real WILD WEST outlaw hideout located in Colorado’s best preserved ghost town- VICTOR! Originally built in 1899 as a brothel and saloon, the building has a wild history and even acted as the clubhouse for a notorious biker gang in the 70s and 80s. Battle Mountain Inn retains 100% of its rustic charm, but has been completely remodeled to give you all the modern comforts and amenities! This unit features a treehouse style loft, taxidermy, and western decor. This spacious 600 square foot unit features 2 queen beds, and treehouse style sleeping loft with queen size mattress. It can easily sleep up to 6 guests. Your kids will literally go nuts when they realize a treehouse style play fort is built into their hotel room. The treehouse features comfy bedding and it’s own smart tv plus video game system featuring over 100,000 retro games. The unit also has a full kitchen and kitchen table. All your basic needs to prepare meals are stocked in house. Full dish and glasses set, pots/pans/mixing bowls, kitchen tools, toaster/microwave/coffee maker, oil/spices/salt/pepper. Bathroom is well appointed with large shower and great hot water. This is a private hotel room with self check in, but host is available on call. Host is available to give a walking ghost tour of the town for a small fee or tip. We are located in a historic mining ghost town established in 1899. Victor Colorado was the Las Vegas of the Wild West and hosted 18,000 residents, but only 400 remain today. There is plenty of free parking and there are bars, restaurants, a coffee shop, and museums all on the same block as the inn. Main floor of building is still under renovation.
