Charter Plan: Washi Art's Old House "Warabee Land

We renovated the main house of a papermaker that had been vacant for 20 years, incorporating Japanese paper throughout the walls and ceilings. You can create authentic, artistic Washi paper here. Nearby (17 minutes by car), we recommend a natural hot spring and stone sauna—feel free to ask us about them! We offer kitchen use! BBQ preparations are also available. Please inquire! The space We have three guest rooms available for overnight stays. Room Name: Kozo Washi-art featuring kozo, the raw material for Japanese paper, covers the entire walls and ceiling. Room Name: Akebi Inspired by the traditional Japanese fruit “akebi.” The entire room is covered in Washi-Art. Room Name: Matatabi The walls feature calming washi-art, while the ceiling is covered in the world's first washi-art blended with crystal. Lying on the top bunk, the ceiling resembles a starry sky. Guest access The front desk area and staff room (2nd floor) are off-limits. All other areas are open for use. Please use the three rooms on the 2nd floor for sleeping at night. If you wish to listen to music or talk after 9:00 PM, please use the front desk room with the door closed. (We are considerate of our neighbors.) Other things to note ・Dinner is not provided, but the kitchen is available for use. You may purchase food at nearby stores and enjoy it in the large hall, which has designated dining space. Please feel free to use it. ・BBQ and fireworks are permitted. BBQ grills (including knives, cutting boards, and plastic tableware) are available for rent. Guests must bring their own food, grilling nets, charcoal, and other consumables. ※To avoid disturbing neighbors, please refrain from using fireworks designed for aerial displays. 　※ Tarps and gas stoves are available for rainy days. Guests must bring their own consumables like gas canisters. ・The Washi-Art pieces on display are all one-of-a-kind and extremely valuable.
