Stella's view offers the best of both worlds. Start your day with a sunrise and a coffee, and end it with a sunset and a glass of wine. We’re constantly amazed by the ever-changing sea, its ebb and flow, and the variety of boats—big and small—that pass by, always captivating and full of charm. On the back balcony, enjoy dinner or a cocktail while watching the sun set over the hills and wetlands, sharing stories of your day by the bay. Just a two-minute stroll to the beach. The space Perched above two smaller BNBs, this private hideaway blends beachy vibes with a retro twist. Featuring two king-size bedrooms, the space was built by my cousin in 1992 and has a cool midcentury flair with a relaxed coastal touch. The bathroom has a shower and a separate bath. Toilet is separate for convenience. Upstairs, you'll be treated to stunning views over Te Haumi Bay. For practicality, there’s a washer/dryer tucked in the kitchen. Just a heads-up, access is upstairs, so keep accessibility in mind! Guest access Up 18 easy steps, you’ll find your private perch with stunning views over Te Haumi Bay and the bird-filled wetlands. Start your day soaking up the morning sun on the front deck with a coffee or breakfast while taking in the sparkling water views. As the day winds down, head to the back balcony to catch the last golden rays, sip a cheeky drink, and enjoy the aroma of dinner sizzling on the BBQ. Coastal charm with a hip, relaxed vibe awaits! Other things to note We have large vegetable gardens on the property along with chooks, so you might spot me out there tending to them. If the weather cooperates, there will be fresh veggies and eggs to share with our guests—it’s our little way of adding something special to your stay.
