Modern cottage at a quiet location on beautiful Tjörn, perfect for the small family/couple or friends who want to live comfortably with modern standards. One bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, sleeping loft, sofa bed tv and Wifi, bathroom with a washing machine. About 45 minutes (54km) drive from Gothenburg city center. Approximately 11 minute (9.3km) drive from Stenungsund shopping center. A 5 minute drive (3.5km) to Ica Almö Livs, which has most things. There's also a gym and pharmacy. The space Fully quipped kitchen with stove, oven, combine fridge and freezer, cutlery, plates, pots, glasses, coffee machine, water boiler, table for 4 seats (extension available for 2 more seats) and a highchair. Living area equipped with a small tv with chrome cast and sofa bed Bedroom has a bunk bed (lower bed 140cm and upper bed 90cm) and closet for storage and black-out curtains. Bathroom is equipped with washbasin, shower, toilet, washing machine and small closet for storage. Loft has two 90cm mattresses and bed lamps and a wooden ladder to climb up too, perfect for teens. Pool is available for use. The hosts asks that the guests first ask before use for maintenance purposes. A shower before use is a MUST to keep levels normal. Adult supervision is a MUST when children are in the pool. Small children who still use diapers are requested to have swimming diapers on in the pool. Other things to note There are many attractions and charming archipelago communities in the surrounding area. For example there are many things, both natural and cultural, to stimulate the curious mind at Sundsby Säteri, a 2 minute (1.5km) drive away. It has a long and interesting history and is set in a beautiful natural park with several hiking trails. The café offers both hot and cold meals, refreshments and home made cakes. Why not visit the famous Pilane skulpture park. Nature’s own art gallery, eight hectares of a beautiful cultural landscape where you are free to roam in the open. See the iconic work Anna by Jaume Plensa, meet grazing sheep, wander across burial grounds thousands of years old, experience art, history and panoramic sea views. Visit the central town of Skärhamn, with a rich range of entertainment and culture where the Nordic Watercolour Museum is the most famous a 17 minute (16km) drive away. Also take the opportunity to experience the archipelago and the small fishing villages around Tjörn such as Klädesholmen and Kyrkesund or take the ferry from Rönnäng to the nearby car-free islands of Åstol, Dyrön and Tjörnekalv. The big city of Gothenburg with the well-known amusement park Liseberg for the kids a 54 minute (55 km) drive away.
