Red Hook Duplex + Yard - Sunny Quiet Cozy

Sunny, private duplex in the center of Red Hook. 3 blocks from IKEA park/ferry, 2 blocks from Van Brunt (vintage/artisan shops, restaurants, breweries, local bars), 3 blocks from Valentino Pier (views of Statue of Liberty, key lime pies!). Wine and grocery store 4 blocks away. Stocked kitchen, central air, soaking tub. The house is hidden from street view behind a tall wooden gate. Private and safe. Shared yard has seating and is planted w flowers & vegetables. The space Your Airbnb is a private duplex apartment, upstairs (2nd and 3rd floors). ---- To rent: you must have at least 3 positive reviews and no negative reviews/complaints. YARD. The yard is shared with the downstairs tenant. There are benches and chairs throughout. The deck is OFF LIMITS; it belongs to the downstairs tenant. Do not take furniture from the deck or go on the deck! My dogs live on this property. Though it has been thoroughly cleaned, if you are extremely allergic to dogs, this is not a good space for you. Living room: Large flat screen TV Xbox 360 w/ Netflix, HBOMax, and Youtube Kitchen: Excellent coffee machine Coffee grinder Large sink Caraway pots and pans, one pot, dutch oven, stuff for baking and cooking NO dishwasher There is some tea and coffee left for you, but please don't eat my food. Feel free to use spices and whatever sauces (or other stuff) are in the fridge. Central air Bathroom: Deep soaking tub Bidet toilet Good counter space Third floor (office and bedroom) has NOT been renovated. This floor is refinished and smooth, but old -- some small gaps between floorboards. Floor is slanted. When I removed the old heavy metal floor heaters, it exposed some sheetrock and some very old cool wallpaper showing beneath it (bottom 6 inches of wall space). It’s a little ugly. I am including this information so there are no aesthetic surprises. This does not affect the apartment. It has some creaks and imperfections. It is clean, cozy and comfortable. --- ONE WELL BEHAVED DOG CONSIDERED Dog rules: Clean up after your dog. Don't leave your dog in the yard or house unattended. You are responsible for any damage your dog causes. Your dog must be housebroken, quiet and friendly with people and other animals. You are responsible for any and all damage to the apartment. Please respect my stuff; I live here :) --- Entrance to the front door of the house, and to the hallway, is shared. A black tenant lives in the ground floor apartment. He is not co-hosting this space. Please only reach out to me for questions and assistance :) NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN - sharp edges, staircases, valuable fragile items throughout. NO SHOES In the house. Shoes to be left inside the apartment door on shoe rack. NO PARTIES. If you list "2 people" in your booking and a gathering of people show up one evening, I will terminate your stay without refund. NO SMOKING of any kind inside, NO VAPING Guest access Full, private access to the second and third floors. Access to the backyard, shared with Lloyd, the downstairs tenant. Do NOT use the deck/patio in front of his bedroom door. Hallway is OFF LIMITS. Other things to note Dogs live on this property. The house has been thoroughly cleaned, but those with severe dog allergies should not rent this space.
