The state capital of Potsdam is only about 30 km away. Castle tours can be booked here. Worth seeing are Cecilienhof, Sanssouci, the Dutch Quarter, the Russian Colony, and more. Also recommended is the annual castle night. The flower city of Werder, surrounded by water, is worth a visit (about 27 km away). For the annual tree blossom, the Werderans open their gardens and farms and offer their fruit wines. Berlin can be reached via the A115 in about 1 hour.
