Situated on the edge of a 5-acre parcel off a private drive, you'll enjoy a quiet & peaceful getaway. The space Our 800 sq ft craftsman-style guesthouse is bright and airy with 9ft ceilings. But our favorite feature is the large covered deck, which will allow you to enjoy a glass of wine next to the glow of the firepit come rain or shine. Comfort: From fully reclining leather chairs, luxury bedding, big screen 4K TVs in each room, high-efficiency AC & Heat, and blackout curtains in the bedroom to the small details like ensuring outlets in every room & built-in USB chargers on the nightstands, and whole-home water purification system, we have worked hard to ensure you have everything you will need for a genuinely comfortable and restful retreat. We have laundry, on-demand unlimited hot water, full sets of dishes and cookware, fiber high-speed internet, Keurig, French press, and an assortment of teas... Entertainment: Enjoy browsing the internet with over 350mbps fiber high-speed internet. If you like watching movies on vacation, we have you covered there too. From a 55" 4K TV in the living room to a 50" 4K in the bedroom, you can easily stream Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and more. (using only one remote) Great Sleep: We're bed snobs. We admit it. The good news is that we've embraced that passion for your stay. With this high-end mattress, soft memory foam topper, luxury linens, and a Pottery Barn duvet, you'll feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. We've also included a variety of pillow choices to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Coffee: Ever watched the sun rise over Mt. Hood with a great cup of coffee, maybe with the fire pit turned on low for ambiance? Whether you prefer a quick Keurig (Assortment of pods provided) or a robust French Press (grinder & press provided, please bring your favorite beans), if you get out early enough, you might catch our local deer grazing. (Don't worry, tea drinkers. We added an assortment for you too :) This really is a very rare country retreat so close to town. We love this space, and we know you will too. Guest access The guest house has a private driveway with motion lights as you approach to keep the area well-lit as you park & unload. There is enough parking for two vehicles in case you're driving separately. ****IMPORTANT: Please DO NOT drive past the parking area. The parking area is the only place to safely turn around. After the parking area, the road continues down the face of a cliff and could be life-threatening. (Don't worry, the parking area is well-lit and marked)**** Other things to note We have a very strict no smoking, vaping, or drug use policy anywhere on the property. It may be legal in Oregon, but it is not permissible on our property. This is a very nice quiet neighborhood with wonderful neighbors.
