Located in the middle of everything!! Our beautiful rustic home is in the center of town. This room is bright with cozy decor and on the basement level. 75 minutes from West Yellowstone, 1 1/2 hours from Jackson Hole, 2 hours from Craters of the Moon, 10 minutes from Rexburg. The space On top of being in the center of the city, it is also in the center of most every wonderful geological option that you have within an hour and a half drive. This includes but is not limited to Island Park, Green Canyon, Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone Park, Craters of the Moon, Jackson Hole, Sun Valley, Mesa Falls and many other great attractions. If you are visiting Yellowstone National Park for the summer 2022 season, roads are open April 15 thru November 7, 2022. This small private room on the basement level sports a full sized bed (not air mattress), decorated in cute forest animals design. This private room will accommodate 2 people. If you have a third person in your party, the sofa bed in the common living room is available upon request. A small walk in closet will accommodate your clothing needs, but also be sure to check out the bomb shelter accessible from inside the closet! Because of the bomb shelter, this room may have a slight musty smell. New egress window installed in early 2021 provides plenty of ventilation.. Also, the doorway is a little narrow and a tad short (it is 68" tall), so if you are tall, you may need to duck to enter this room. Iron and ironing board are available upon request. Carpets have been recently professionally cleaned. This room features full WIFI access. Board games are available as well as puzzles for your use in your down time. A smart TV is located in the shared living room, set up with Roku, Prime, Disney+ and Netflix for your entertainment enjoyment. For kids, a dollhouse with dolls and furniture are provided as well as kid friendly eating utensils and dishware. These fun amenities are located in the common living room which has a hide-a-bed couch with a memory foam mattress for a good night's sleep, and another full size couch and love seat. If you need to utilize either of these beds, please let us know in advance. We do have another private room in our basement area for guests that shares all common spaces. Bathroom is shared by the guests in our other basement guest room. Bathroom features a pedestal sink, and a large walk in shower, as well as a massaging shower head. We provide towels, washcloths, hand towels, shampoo, and liquid shower gel as well. This space has a full size kitchen with stove, microwave, and full size refrigerator for your cooking needs; and is also a shared common space. We provide cold breakfast options for our guests such as bread (for toast), bagels, cereal, milk, orange juice, hot chocolate mix, yogurt, fresh fruit, and cream cheese. Please note that we do have 2 sweet indoor/outdoor cats which are generally not allowed in the room or the apartment. Occasionally they do slip past us though. You may encounter them on the property during your stay. Although we understand that several guests who have stayed in this private room did not like it, others have. Guest access Guests have full access to Kitchen, dining room, bathroom on the basement level, and living room. On the main level, there is an enclosed porch where you can comfortably sit in any weather, and enjoy the great view of the quiet neighborhood. Wi-Fi is also provided. Guests are also welcome upstairs. During your stay We love to get to know people, but we respect space when is desired. Let us know the level of your comfort of interaction, and we will be glad to oblige during your stay. The bathroom is shared with other guests in basement level (usually only 2-3), but is dedicated to guests only. We clean the bathrooms daily, so you may be confident of cleanliness and sanitation. As this is a basement, there will be overhead noise such as walking feet and occasional chairs moving across the floor up above.
