Private Cozy Suite in Beautiful Silverlake

We invite you to our intimate, newly refreshed suite, tucked in the rolling hills of what was once the film studios of the Black and White era of Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, and Disney. Now a popular location that is centrally located, close to Downtown LA, Burbank, Hollywood and Pasadena. 15 minutes to Universal Studios, Griffith Park, Warner Brother, Disney, Paramount and Raleigh Studios. 30 minutes to Disneyland and Santa Monica. Numerous boutique eateries and shops in the area. The space Come up the stairs to the private entrance of your suite on the lower level of our home in the middle of Silverlake. Walking distance to local restaurants, historical German pub, Whole Foods, and coffee shops. Plenty of street parking. The interior invites you to relax after a long day of sightseeing or work. Take a shower or bath with our natural based products, wrap yourself in a robe and make yourself a cup of tea or coffee as you settle into the large arm chair, hook up your device to the television and stream your favorite shows with our high speed internet. The Kitchenette is ready for you to warm up your meal or keep your salads and ice cream nice and cold for those hot days. Take your meals to the dinette to enjoy in comfort. There are two screened windows and the door that you can open to feel the fresh air which is better in Silverlake as we are protected by the rolling hills and the cooler breezes off the reservoir. You can hear the birds chirping in the morning and the occasional dogs barking. From the window you can see Griffith park Observatory and on clear days, the Hollywood sign. Relax for an amazing nights sleep in the king size bed. For your added convenience, you have a charging station on your bedside table for your devices whether they be Android or IOS. Though the home has central heating and a/c, you will have access to a fan and space heater. Some of you may want to indulge and play a few tunes on our Antique piano that is over 100 years old, imported from Canada. Guest access There is a patio in the backyard with a basketball net if you are wanting to shoot some hoops or take a moment of yoga. We hope to have the picnic table and benches ready for those of you who would like to sit outside to enjoy your breakfast or eat under the stars. Other things to note While this studio is private, you may hear footsteps above, music drifting in from other parts of the house, and the sounds that come from everyday living as my son and I live reside in the same home. The suite is situated right above the garage which we will do our best not to open and close the garage door during your stay. I adhere to stringent cleaning protocols.
