The guests' stays will be spaced further apart by implementing earlier check-outs and later check-ins. All of our staff who are involved in the preparation of the home for our guests’ stays will have been thoroughly cleared for health issues. This 50s era townhouse has 2 gracious, charming bedrooms upstairs and a lower level master suite. Two rooms come equipped with a small work station making this a great place for Seattleites to staycation with your “quaranteam” or for out of towners to come and comfortably explore the city. MID-CENTURY MODISH Located in Ballard, one of Seattles' trendiest areas, The Ballard Socialite places you on a quiet leafy street just minutes away from bustling humanity! You are only a block away from some of the local hipster hangouts and minutes from lots of cafes, bars, restaurants, parks, craft breweries, record stores and other specialty shops. Attend a cooking class at one of the two cooking schools within 5 minutes of the house, head to downtown Seattle for a stroll down Pikes Place or check out Sunset Park to watch the sun go down over the Olympics. Whatever you decide to do during your stay, we are sure the refreshed mid-century design of this 1949 townhouse is the perfect place to set the stage for you to have some unique and memorable Seattle experiences! Visit the Nordic Museum which is along the popular ship-canal waterway and viewpoints. Ballard is one of the city's top dining destinations, with options galore for casual happy hours, swanky date nights, Sunday brunch, after-brunch beers, and everything in-between. Mingle amongst locals in our beloved local coffee shops (too many to count here!) and vintage stores. We're happy to share our recommendations! GETTING AROUND We're located near public transportation, with several bus stops within walking distance to downtown Seattle, Fremont, South Lake Union, or the University District for the University of Washington. You can also drive into downtown Seattle (and the University District) in about 15 minutes, and Uber/Lyft are widely available. Parking is available for one car, beside the house. PROTECT YOUR TRIP Insurance is available at a cost of 7% of the gross rental fee and allows you to cancel at any time without penalty under one of the 30 covered reasons (additional information on this insurance available upon request).
