Entering through the neat courtyard, you’ll be welcomed into the custom built dining kitchen, featuring an excellent range of Neff appliances and the modern day conveniences of a Quooker boiling water tap and Nespresso coffee machine. A circular dining table sits opposite the kitchen, offering comfortable seating for four. It’s the ideal place to embrace the well equipped kitchen, or perfect for an evening of board games. Beyond the kitchen but still within the airy and spacious open plan living area, you’ll the find the equally opulent lounge - home to the feature log burning stove and deep cushioned sofas. Whether you’ve had a day exploring the nearby fells, or spent the afternoon mooching around the shops, this space is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Upstairs, there’s a king-sized bedroom (that can be a twin) and a second double bedroom, both tastefully decorated with TV’s and offering what might be described as hotel-like accommodation. The star of the show must be the bathroom. A walk in rainfall shower sits to your left, while the striking roll top bath immediately draws your attention. Not only can you enjoy some ‘me time’ in this tranquil haven, but the built in TV also means you can catch up on your favourite soaps in peace! To the rear of the property you’ll find a well-kept elevated patio, ideal for a morning cuppa or an evening tipple. Despite this property being just minutes from the popular World of Beatrix Potter attraction and the famous lake, Windermere, Heather Mere Cottage feels private and secluded. Guest access GROUND FLOOR High spec kitchen with Neff appliances including electric oven, induction hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Nespresso coffee machine, Quooker boiling water tap and most other expected kitchen appliances. Dining table with seating for 4. Comfortable lounge seating with a SMART TV and full Sky package, log burning stove and an abundance of board games. Private raised terrace with seating to the rear of the property, secluded from the roadside. Neat front courtyard with lockable outhouse and washing machine. FIRST FLOOR Sumptuous master king-sized bedroom with 500-thread count linens, wall mounted TV and ample storage. This bedroom can also be made into a twin bed on request. Second double bedroom with 500-thread count linens, wall mounted TV and ample storage. Large bathroom with feature free-standing bath and wall integrated TV, spacious walk-in rainfall shower and separate handheld shower, large basin and WC. Other things to note Parking at Heather Mere is on road for one vehicle on the surrounding streets, and by way of permit – this will be provided on arrival. There are additional car parks in close proximity to the property and parking passes for 3 or 7 days can be purchased locally at additional expense. 1 well behaved dog is welcome. Minimum 3 night stay, but any day check-in is welcome. There is gas central heating throughout. A cot, highchair and milk sterilisers are available, but unfortuantely, we cannot provide a stairgate. The kitchen has an induction hob – anyone with a pacemaker is advised to take caution and seek professional medical advice.
