Description

Enjoy a private studio-like apartment in a hip Brooklyn neighborhood--with beautiful Prospect Park across the street. 20 minutes to the heart of Manhattan, and a couple subway stops to all major subway lines. Quiet and comfort await you! The space Perfect place to stay if you are visIting NYC or need a place to rest your head while you look for a long-term sublet or apartment. This is a 1- bedroom apartment with a kitchen/living room that has a futon couch/bed and bathroom. The apartment is located across the street from Prospect Park and around the corner from the Q express train (20 minutes to Manhattan). The apartment is in a small complex with a grand lobby and elevator. The kitchen/living space (where you will stay) has a 4-burner stove and oven, refrigerator, futon couch, and table. The bedroom is where I stay. This is a cozy and comfortable place. Instead of an exercise room, you have 585 acres of trees, meadows, and trails right across the street at beautiful Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. One stop north on the Q train brings you to 7th Avenue in Park Slope. Two stops north brings you to Atlantic Avenue where you can catch a concert or watch the Brooklyn Nets at the new Barclay’s Center, or transfer to almost every subway line the city has to offer (N, R, B, 2, 3, 4, 5, and LIRR train). Or just stay on the Q to get to the heart of downtown Manhattan or Times Square. Occasionally you'll hear street traffic but it’s quiet at night. There isn’t much counter space for cooking big meals, but if you can improvise it’s definitely doable. There are several great restaurants in the area including nearby Park Slope to order in – I use Seamless all the time. There is limited closet space, one in the hallway for your coat, etc. There is no TV, so if you want a night of entertainment at home, just do what I do and use your laptop for Netflix, Hulu, etc. Wifi is excellent. I've lived in Brooklyn/NYC for 7 years and will be a great resource for you during your stay. Feel free to contact me to ask any questions. I look forward to hearing from you! Guest access Studio room w/ full-size futon bed (can be turned into a couch). Kitchen area (in your room), bathroom, and foyer. Other things to note I stay in the apartment, in the bedroom on the other side of the apartment. You have your full privacy.
