A wall of windows overlooking Washington Square and a skylight illuminate the apartment with an abundance of natural light. You'll also find a microwave, automatic drip coffee maker (filters, coffee, creamer, and sweeteners provided!), toaster, a tea kettle (a variety of bagged teas provided also). There is plenty of seating on the bar stools along the counter top, or at the 6-seat dining table. The large, primary bedroom has an adjoining full bathroom with an extravagant, tiled walk-in shower surrounded by decorative glass blocks. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds with quality bed linens and extra pillows to ensure a good night's sleep. We also have a twin cot in the closet if needed. Lansing is a very walkable city and easy to navigate with wide sidewalks and well-displayed signs and maps to direct you to your destination. Parking is free on the city streets during weekends after 6:00 pm Friday until 8:00 am Monday, and on weekdays after 6:00 pm until 8:00 am. Free parking is also available in the Parking Garage at 201 S. Grand Avenue around the corner from the apartment (about a 3 minute walk) - use the parking card located in the labeled kitchen cabinet to enter and exit the garage. Lyft and Uber are available, and CATA (Capital Area Transit Authority) is the affordable city bus service. For the adventurous, electric scooters are located on the city sidewalks and are available to rent. Other things to note The apartment is located inside a historic Lansing building with NO ELEVATORS. The apartment is on the third floor of the building so there are 2 flights of stairs up to the apartment. NO PARTIES allowed. Only the guests listed on the reservation are allowed in the apartment. Additional guests only permitted with written permission of property manager. YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD to reserve this apartment. IN ADDITION, the person who reserves the apartment must be present and staying in the apartment for the duration of the reservation. NOISE: Keep noise to a minimum after 10 PM on Sunday through Thursday and 11 PM on Friday and Saturday. No Smoking allowed in the building or on the property. Unfortunately, in the past people have used units for parties and have left excessive mess and damaged furniture - they were billed for the costs incurred. If you want to party - look for another property to rent. We have cameras monitoring the common areas of the property. No cameras inside the unit.
