Description

Allegria Lakehouse is our luxury lakefront family vacation home situated on the quiet north shore of Buck Lake, Alberta. The house is beautifully appointed with 6 spacious bedrooms, an indoor pool, gym, movie theatre, game room, barrel sauna, and hot tub. This lakefront property has its own wading area and dock. In summer enjoy the private dock and boatlift with boat rental included. In winter months your stay includes the use of the cozy ice-fishing shack. The space The Lakehouse comes fully furnished with all that you will need in a relaxing and comfortable home. The large, open-planned living area is the heart of the home with fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and grand windows to take in the view. Sliding doors off the dining room lead you onto a heated, covered upper-deck area. Enjoy this space by the BBQ, dining together or just relaxing outdoors and enjoying the wildlife. Preparing meals in the large fully equipped kitchen is a dream with a double wall oven, large gas cooktop, butlers pantry, and center island. The main floor also offers a wheelchair-friendly master bedroom, ensuite bathroom, and walk-in closet with its own direct access to the upper deck. Upstairs there are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an informal lounge and laundry room. The master bedroom features beautiful lake views, a cozy fireplace with reading nook, king bed, and ensuite bathroom. The walk-in closet is spacious and features a large make-up area perfect for self-pampering. The Twin bedroom has lake views, two twin beds (that can be combined to make a king bed), ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet. Centered between these two bedrooms and the three Queen suites is a fun informal living space with sleeper couch and entertainment such as toys, books, games, and a large-screen TV. Heading downstairs to the basement you will find a games room, indoor heated pool, gym area, and movie theatre. The games room is where you can enjoy a game of pool or table tennis. A kitchenette in this room offers convenience in serving drinks and snacks as you engage in your activity of choice. The 20'x10' indoor heated pool is the perfect place to enjoy the water year-round. Adjacent to the pool is the gym area complete with treadmill and weight machine. An ensuite bathroom provides a private space to change and shower off before/after your swim/workout. The movie theatre features HD video projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, 9 reclining seats, a private DVD collection of over 300 movies, Cable TV, Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney+, and more. The basement opens up to the walkout covered lower deck area with 8 seater hot-tub. You'll also find the 7-person purpose built red-cedar barrel sauna ready for use. From the lower deck you access the large patio with firepit. The property is lakefront with a private 110' dock. In the summer months, your rental includes the use of the 16ft Sylvan Sport Ski/Fish boat, including fishing gear, tubes and kneeboards. Please, let us know if you would like to use the boat during your rental time. You'll also have access to several kayaks, a canoe, inflatable row boat, and more. (Note: Buck lake is subject to blue-green algae at certain times of the year, check with us if you have questions). In winter on the lake you can enjoy ice-fishing in the heated ice-fishing shack on the lake in front of the house, fully equipped with ice-fishing gear for the whole family. You can also enjoy cross-country skiing, sledding, skidoo'ing and ice-skating on the lake (always ensure you observe local ice safety conditions). Lawn and snow maintenance is taken care of and there are cleaners available to keep the home clean. Guest access The property has gated access from the road and parking is available on the property. Note: Parking on the public road is prohibited. Please take care to drive cautiously as roads in the neighbourhood are often used by children on bicycles or residents on OHV/ATV's. Take careful note of the local OHV/ATV bylaws - a copy of these bylaws is provided in the home. Other things to note A rental agreement will be provided and required to be signed with each stay. Parties/events/functions of any kind are prohibited on the property! No smoking of any kind is allowed in the house. There will be yard maintenance including snow maintenance and grass mowing, pool and hot tub maintenance, and other general maintenance provided. There will also be options for weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cleaning.
