This two-bedroom, one-bathroom holiday home sleeps up to six people in comfort in the rear dwelling of this fully fenced property. Each bedroom features oil heaters to keep warm. Amenities include a basic kitchen, washing machine, BBQ, and three kayaks with six lifejackets of various sizes. For entertainment, there is a television, DVD player, surround sound system, and a selection of board games in the second bedroom. There is plenty of roadside parking, as well as space via the shared driveway for off-street parking and a boat up to 7m in length. Located just off state highway one in the lakeside settlement of Motuoapa, 10 minutes drive to Turangi, your accommodation provides a peaceful and convenient base to explore this world-famous lake and trout fishing region, just north of Tongariro National Park. Due to the lake being directly across the road, adults should closely supervise young children while outside to ensure they are safe around water. Please note there is another dwelling onsite that may be occupied during your stay. There are life-jackets available to use with the kayaks but we do recommend that guests bring their own well-fitting life-jackets to ensure safety. If towing a boat, please be mindful of the power lines at the front of the property.
