The old school

Cozy old newly-restored school from 1849. Located in a village without shops in the countryside, peacefully surrounded by fields, but close to forests, heaths, cycling routes and swimming lakes. Large garden available with fireplace, garden table and chairs, as well as a small cozy terrace. Driving distance: Legoland - 40 min Aarhus - 45 min Silkeborg - 25 min Givskud Zoo - 35 mins Swimming lake - 10 min Shopping - 10 min Cafés and restaurants - 12-25 min. Sleeps 8 people. Pets are allowed for a fee of DKK 250. The space The home is originally from 1849, but newly restored in 2018, so everything is new. One bedroom is an extension of the kitchen/dining room and cut off from the living room with a curtain. There is a double bed on the floor 180x220 cm. There is carpet on the floor. The second bedroom is an extension of the living room, and has previously served as a walk-in. There is a double bed 140x220 cm. There is carpet on the floor. The third bedroom is on the first floor. There is a small double bed 140x220 cm. There is also a wide sofa bed, as well as a single bed that can be made up as needed. NOTE: There is a raw slab floor. I.e. no parquet flooring, carpets or similar on the floor up here. There is a bathroom with a large shower. NOTE!! The kitchen has a new professional gas stove. It requires a little special handling, but we provide thorough guidance upon arrival. The living room has two sofas, as well as a beanbag chair and coffee table. From the living room, there is access to a small and very cozy terrace, where there is a sofa and a parasol. The garden also has a dining table with chairs and a parasol. The garden can be used freely. However, it is not allowed to play ball or the like, as we have a lot of newly planted trees in the garden. There is a campfire area with seating around and space to pitch tents. The host lives in a small apartment in the same building as the home. Guest access Private entrance with access to the entire house, which is not shared with the owner. The host lives in a small apartment in the same building. However, the host has access to the laundry room, where the washing machine and a private freezer are located. Other things to note The washing machine can be used by appointment and guidance. It's free, but due to allergies, either our detergent or unscented detergent and no fabric softener must be used.
