Originally built as a ski house this property has many warm and cabin-like features. With a fantastic location it is easy walking distance to many trendy west-side restaurants, pubs, shops, and Drake Park on the river. The deck provides sun in the morning and shade in the afternoon, perfect for that morning cup of coffee or those late afternoon refreshments. The property also has an outdoor grill and eating area as well a a Bocce ball area. There are a couple of paddle boards and a few tubes to use to float on the Deschutes River down to Drake Park. The property is located right on Galveston Ave which is a somewhat busy street. The traffic comes from a residential area so the cars are mostly people going to and coming from work. With that said, it quiets down in the evening and night. Important to note: There is a fully detached garage with a private apartment above with its own private entrance in the rear of the property. This space is not included with the vacation rental and is the personal space of the owner. The owner may occupy the space during the rental.
