Yr Hafan is a traditional stone-built Pembrokeshire cottage situated a short two-minute stroll from the sandy beach at Nolton Haven. The house sleeps four with a living room, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. New for 2024 season - Newly laid flooring in front hall and in bathroom, new top-quality floor paint (three coats) on bedroom floors (see photos). Bookings are from Saturday (3.00pm arrival) to Saturday (10.00am departure). The space On the ground floor is the front hall giving access to living room and dining room, each with its own wood-burning stove. From the dining room guests descend four steps (with handrail) into the fitted kitchen. From the kitchen there is a passageway to the utility room with washing machine and downstairs toilet and access to the garden door leading directly into the fully enclosed private garden with picnic table, clothes line and a hose for rinsing flip-flops and wet suits etc. Guest access Guests have sole access to the entire house of Yr Hafan and its enclosed garden. The garden may be accessed from the road through a garden gate, or from the garden door at the back of the house. Guests do not have access to the garage, or to the adjoining property next door, or to land which is outside of the enclosed garden. Other things to note Yr Hafan is a traditional Pembrokeshire cottage, it is not a modern house or flat. It has features typical of traditional Welsh cottages which guests should be aware of and take care about: low height of front door - mind your head. Some of the original Welsh quarry-tiles in dining room present a slightly uneven surface. Access to the property is down four fairly steep steps to the front door (hand-rail provided). Access to the kitchen is down four steps from the dining room (hand-rail provided). Please take due care when using these steps. Access to the upstairs is via a winding staircase.
