This is a great, thoughtfully designed space with an updated bathroom and TVs in each bedroom as well as in the living room. It has 2 queen beds in 2 separate bedrooms. It also has a sectional couch in the living room. The bathroom has a heated seat and bidet with warm water. Minneapolis has so much to see and do! We are happy to provide recommendations and please check out our guidebook. Uptown is quite possibly one of the most urban areas in the entire great state of Minnesota. By definition, it functions almost as its own mini-city, and is certainly one of the liveliest communities in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Bordered by 28th Street to the north, Dupont Street to the east, 31st Street to the south, and Lake Bde Maka Ska to the west—its heart is located where Hennepin Avenue and West Lake Street intersect, which is a block from where this property is located! Lake Harriet, Lake of the Isles, and Cedar Lake are only a few blocks away, making Uptown’s tree-lined streets both welcoming and walkable— where the blues meet the greens. The mixture of housing, from studio apartments to lakeside mansions, offers much in the way of diversity, and one can take their pick from an array of book stores, one-of-a-kind specialty shops, theaters, and locally owned restaurants and corner cafés. In addition to shopping, dining, and entertainment, Uptown is an urban oasis reflecting the attitudes, landscapes, and spirit of a multi-disciplined and layered community It is home to Seven Points, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and Walker Art Center, the City of Lakes Loppet, cross-country ski festival, and the Uptown Art Fair, which attracts as many as 375,000 people during the first full weekend in August. While these annual events are becoming increasingly popular, the Uptown area captures attention year-round simply because it’s Uptown—intriguing and inviting, established and new, bohemian and fabulous. It is an eclectic mix that attracts businesses, residents, and visitors alike. Easy transportation and parking available in Uptown. - Information is from Uptown Association. Uptown is exceptionally walkable! Despite the deceptively laid-back feel of our block, it's a short two blocks' walk before you're in the thick of it. There are many bars and restaurants to explore, and many are easily within walking distance. Parking provided on-site.
