Description
Come relax and rejuvenate. Morning coffee or evening drinks on the porch as fireflies blink on and off. Breathe in the fresh air, enjoy the tranquil sounds of the country and RELAX. Close to Mustard Seed Hill, we are a brief and beautiful drive to Keeneland, the Ky Horse Park, Thoroughbred farms, and Red River Gorge. Travel the Bourbon Trail. Visit Louisville, Cincinnati, the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. Want to see a Thoroughbred's morning training routine? We're happy to show you! The space We love sharing this historic home with guests! The farmhouse grew up around a log cabin, circa 1816, built by a Revolutionary War colonel. While passing through Kentucky, ancient Adena tribes constructed several mounds in the fields on this and neighboring farms. Daniel Boone built his last Kentucky cabin just a couple miles down the road, and although it has been moved from its original site, it is still close by and worth a visit. Blue Licks Battlefield State Park and museum is also nearby. Guest access If you would like a tour and some interaction with the animals (horses, sheep, lambs and goats) during your stay on this working farm, it would be our pleasure--just ask!
