The leisure property consists of large main cabin from about 1814, as well as bodywork from around 2005 and upgraded annex from 2017, dock facilities, terraces, large lawn with trampoline and hot tub. Sun on the property from early morning to late evening In total there are about 20 sleeping places and 3 bathrooms divided between main house and annex. The property is to a high standard. The space Ny-Hellesund is one of the best-preserved off-rise along the southern coast and the cultural environment at the oceans was protected in 2016. The combination of white, yellow and red wooden houses against the rough nature of the sea gap is very special. Here, the sea meets hefty cliffs, shiny swamps, and pebble beaches on the exterior of the islands, while the settlement is sheltered in the warm unseen area by three islands; Helgøya, Kapelløya, and Monsøya. Guest access Arrival: Parking space for car on the mainland is included (Prestebukta marina). here is a 21 foot RIB (BRIG) with 150hp which is included in the price ( if you/you have a boat driver test and have a boat experience. (this RIB'n is rented on the tenant's responsibility and guests are financially responsible for injuries) it is also possible that we have a 12 ft with 9.9hp available - a bit depending on where our kids want the boat this summer :) There is also a scheduled boat/taxi boat from Høllen (Søgne) that can dock on the pier to the cabin. The cabin is located right by the Shipyard of Ny-Hellesund, a restaurant that reopened in the summer of 2021 (see their website for hours) In Høllen there is a gas station and grocery stores, as well as ice cream kiosks.
