A Charming Heritage Home Located in the Heart of St. Andrews: Situated on a quarter town block, the Inn offers 4 exceptional private rooms in what was previously the home of the Doctor of the Charlotte County Militia in 1859. The residence has been thoughtfully renovated and modernized. Step into a piece of St Andrews History. Please note that this is an Inn, not a Bed and Breakfast. No breakfast will be served on site. The space The Romeo room is a large room with ample light from the two big original windows. The Suite has a private bathroom with a bathtub shower combination which is located just outside the room. It is the original bathroom to the house and has a lot of character but is not updated yet. There is a new queen mattress on a new linen wingback frame. The day bed couch can be turned into 2 single beds for additional guests. The Romeo Room is suitable for families. Other amenities include a Keurig single serving coffee maker, mini fridge, flat screen TV with login access to your personal streaming services, wireless chargers on both night stands and wine glasses with a wine opener. There are polished pine floors which are original to the house and a closet to put your belongings. Please note that this is an Inn, not a Bed and Breakfast. Nummy Cafe will be open on site from June-October and breakfast can be purchased. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the cafe area to the left of the entrance and also the tea room to the right. Guests are also welcome to use the deck and the back yard, but please note the back deck is off-limits as it is private to the owners Other things to note Saint Andrews is more than a one-night stay destination. There are many local activities which are detailed in our online guest book. Therefore, during peak season from May-October The Montague Rose will have a two night minimum.
