This 2nd floor apartment is in an older home. While elements of the apartment have been renovated (kitchen, bathroom, flooring in the apartment), please keep in mind that this is still an older building. It is centrally-located and has a Queen bed, living room. It is close to downtown Crown Point (the Square), and to multiple restaurants, shops and Bulldog Park. The lake county Fairgrounds and Bulldog Park are also quite close. Come experience the Crown Point living close to all the action! The space This is a second floor apartment that has its own private entrance in a large older home. There are 3 other apartments with long term tenants. Some AirBnB guests become long term and others just visit for a week or two. Sound may travel through the house, so we ask everyone to be kind to each other and understand the quirks of the house. The stairway leading to the 2nd floor is on the narrow side (3' wide). The property is also on a major street and across the street from a church. Occasionally you will hear the church bell and expect many parishioners to attend the church across the street on Sundays. The windows, doors and walls are older in this home. Guest access The apartment, one parking spot and any part of the yard is accessible to guests. Parking should be done in a perpendicular fashion so that 4 cars fit in the driveway. Please do not park at an angle and make sure you do not block other tenants. Other things to note Traveling nurses, temporary workers, visiting family....all are welcome. Corporate rental for someone working long term 9-12 months or more is also possible. This place is 3 minutes drive to Franciscan Health Crown Point Hospital on Main St and 7 minutes drive to the new construction of Franciscan Physician Network Crown Point on Hwy 231 and I-65. It is also 5 minute drive to the new Lake Shore Bone and Joint Institute as well as the University of Chicago facility on E 109th Ave and I-65. This place truly is close to everything. Please keep in mind that the price of the apartment reflects the fact that this is in an older building. Please communicate with me as soon as you check in...with how you find the place. For long term stays, mandatory cleaning by our staff will happen twice per month at the regular cleaning rate and will be billed separately to you. In this cleaning the following will be included: washing of the linens and towels, cleaning of the bathroom and kitchen, mopping of the floor, and dusting.
