We completed the construction of this 1,000 square feet house in 2023. However, you will not believe that this home is only 1,000 square feet! The cathedral pine boards ceiling in the living room and the large windows bring in a ton of light. The cabiny feel contrasts with the modern design. You will find 2 parking spots right in front of the home. for larger vehicles, ask the host for more parking options on the lower part of the property. There is a lockbox pinned on the log post by the entrance door. We live on the property and are happy to help during your stay! We are located at the top of Mel Ray Road in West Glenwood. West Glenwood is a residential area. Very safe. End of the road privacy. The neighborhood is very nice to walk around, and you can hike on game trails right from the home's doorstep! The whole area is steep and requires and certain level of fitness to hike around. The house includes a flight of exterior stairs to get to the front door. There are more steps to get to the upstairs bedroom, bathroom and loft. Make sure everybody in your group is ok with stairs. We also have chairs and a platform on the BLM land in the back. No smoking inside or outside of the property due to living in an area of high fire risk.
