Located in East Rock, arguably one of the most desired areas in New Haven, you'll find amazing restaurants including the incredible Nica's Market and G Cafe Bakery in short walking distance. Beautiful streets and parks to explore and shopping close by. Also Yale is just up the street! The Indie Yale Studio is a sweet lower level apartment with lots of style and lots of charm. There is one very comfortable queen sized bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining table for 2 and a cozy living room area complete with a plush leather couch that folds out into a bed and a 55" Smart TV to watch as much as you want. We provide all linens for you as well as shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There's a bathroom with a brand new shower and a washer and dryer for your use only in the hall just outside the apartment door. Whether you're looking for a little spot for a romantic overnight, planning a trip with a friend or you're flying solo just for a change of scenery, this is the perfect spot! Guest have the entire apartment, with Washer/Dryer just outside the apartment (BYO Detergent). One parking space on our lot, as well as permits for street parking for additional vehicles. This is a lower level apartment so guests must be able to climb one set of stairs. We are available via text message and the Airbnb app. The East Rock neighborhood of New Haven, named for nearby East Rock, a prominent trap rock ridge and hiking trail, is one of the city's premier neighborhoods. The area is home to a large group of Yale employees and faculty, as well as many young professionals and families. East Rock is also a popular destination for cyclists, as an urban bike path runs along Orange Street, the backbone of the neighborhood. The abundance of coffee shops, restaurants and the like make it a must-see during your stay in New Haven. Orange Street is considered a main artery of New Haven.
