Cozy Elizabethan apartment in historic town centre
Description
Dating back over 700 years, this apartment occupies the oldest Tudor residential property in Kingston. Set on the edge of Kington’s historic market square and walking distance to the River Thames, whilst boasting excellent transport links into London, with Kingston’s main railway station only a short walk away. This place is ideally located for visiting Hampton Court, Richmond Park, Windsor Castle, Ascot and Twickenham Stadium. Please note; this property is set within a pedestrianised zone. The space Please understand, this is not a large apartment but it is fully equipped and suitable for 4 people (2 couples or a family). There is also a sofa bed in the living room, which can be used on request if you are looking to accommodate more people, but it will limit the usage of the apartment as it is the main living space. Guest access The entire apartment is self-contained Other things to note The apartment is set within a pedestrianised zone on the edge of Kingston’s historic market square, so there is no immediate parking. There are plenty of public car parks nearby, the nearest one underneath John Lewis at the end Thames St, which is very close but has time restrictions, so to avoid your car being locked overnight and charged for it, there is also Seven Kings Car Park a little further away, but at lower cost, open 24/7 and (currently) free overnight. It is important to note, this is a town centre urban setting, and whilst it is generally quiet in the evening (as no bars or restaurants are close enough to be a problem), it can sometimes get noisy, particularly during seasonal periods, like Christmas. There is however, little in the way of traffic noise just the market traders and some store deliveries.
