Welcome to our luxurious off grid yurt located close to Lake Wallenpaupack, nature trails, hiking, swimming and boating. The yurt is situated on the edge of a private field of a 40 acre property giving plenty of privacy. We use 100% organic cotton bedding allowing you to indulge in a restful nights sleep. Pamper yourself with our all natural organic bath products while leaving minimal ecological foot print. Come unwind, sit around the campfire, and gaze up at the stars! The yurt is located on a 40 acre parcel composed of fields, woods, and trails which you are welcome to explore. We do live on the property and have a bell tent that we also rent. You cannot see the tent or the house from the yurt and we value and respect your privacy. The yurt is off grid and relies only on solar energy and propane. We do have a back up generator if you run out of electricity but it's loud and unenjoyable so we strongly suggest to be mindful of your energy consumption. The toilet is an incinerating toilet which means it is not connected to water or a sewer system. It burns the waste. You have total and private access to the yurt.
