Pet friendly room, an extension of our home. You will have full use of our main home just steps away for washroom/kitchen amenities. Our large-breed dog-friendly home is located in seaside Pugwash, Nova Scotia. 74km to Confederation Bridge, 1.5 hr to PEI ferry, 30 min to Ski Wentworth.. Price is based on single occupancy to help those travelling alone. For additional guest please “add guest”. Our property is not suitable nor safe for children or infants. The space Your room is large, quiet and private from the main cottage with a garden view. There's a comfy queen bed, a lounge area with games and a TV with Netflix, a small area for prepping simple meals (if you prefer the privacy) and an area for hand washing. There is a work table, dining table and great wifi for work purposes. Options for your room if you have a pet are: large dog bed, water bowls, dog towels. Pets are considered on an individual basis. In general we accept LARGE breed dogs (OVER 30lbs) and extremely well behaved cats. No aggressive dogs, no high prey dogs. Our property is fully fenced. Daycare options are available. As listed this is a NON SMOKING property - which means the entire property including the driveway. Let us know roughly when you plan to check in so that we can make sure we are here to greet you. We ask that you respect that this is our home and check-in hours are dictated by our bedtime. If you require a late check-in please message us and we can make arrangements. Thank you for respecting us and our neighbours. Pugwash has many amenities which may close between 5pm and 8pm depending on the day. Come prepared with snacks, meals, groceries and drinks as these items are not always available during the evening hours. If you'd like us to stock the fridge in your room or if you'd like breakfast please message me the details and we can make arrangements to help you. Being prepared with a bit of food is key to a good visit! Guest access You will have access to the main floor of our home which includes a full kitchen, open living/dining area and a bathroom with a shower and washer/dryer. If you need laundry done we will run the machines for you. Outside, you have access to the deck, which includes a partial outdoor kitchen and shower, both with hot and cold water. The yard is a shared space and offers gardens, a lounge swing and a fire pit. We have tennis rackets, pickle ball rackets, washer toss and practice golf available. During your stay You will be sharing our home with us and we will share helpful information to make your stay with us great and your travels awesome. If you have requests please send them to us ahead of your visit. Other things to note Our space is communal if you want it to be - and very private if you choose. There are areas to socialize and areas to be alone. If you're curious about our pricing our goal is to provide a reasonably priced accommodation for a single traveller. An additional guest is an additional fee. This is to make travel more affordable and fair for single occupancy, not to penalize double occupancy. We also love to do home improvement projects so it's possible that we will be engaged in some sort of renovation work. We love sharing stories and meeting people from all over the world.
