Gable Hut at Blue Sky Center

The Gable is one of five Shelton Huts (@sheltonhuts on IG) on the Blue Sky property. Each is one of a kind and the five are circled around our main fire pit and the Khalili Cantina. Huts have wood floors and wood/glass front and rear walls. The roof/side walls are waterproof canvas. There is an electric light and an outlet in each. They are not heated or air conditioned so plan accordingly for the season. All photography for commercial use must be pre-approved. Please contact us for more info. The space All huts have an interior size of 8'x12' with a small front porch. Stairs are required. This hut has one double bed and floor space for a couple of sleeping bags or a cot for the kids (message us to reserve a cot and we'll have it ready for you for $10 per stay). There is an electric light and an outlet in each hut. This hut faces into the Hut Circle. The Shelton Huts are raised off the ground with uninsulated wood floors and waterproof canvas roofs/walls. We are in a desert climate (large temperature swings from day to night); there is no A/C or central heating, but in winter we do provide a heated mattress pad that keeps you cozy. Guest access Our Hut Circle and campsite is behind our main Flagship Building at 1000 Perkins Road. Drive around back to find your hut. Restrooms and shower are nearby in our Flagship building. Park in front of your hut. Other things to note The 3% community fee goes to a scholarship fund for local kids that will pursue art, social service, or rural economic development for post-secondary education. Message us if you'd like to make an additional tax-deductible donation to our nonprofit and this fund. We welcome your doggies! There is a $25 per reservation fee for pets.
