You will be close to everything at our centrally-located site in the heart of Cornwall. After a nice day on the beach at Polzeath or Rock surrounded by surfers and sea, Ruthern Valley is somewhere you can escape to hidden among the green canopy of Cornwall's interior. Close to Bodmin Moor, our secluded, beguiling little site is humming with wildlife, budding ornithologists can look out for the woodpecker a-pecking and the owls a-hooting. Right in the middle of The Camel Cycle Trail. The space Ruthern Valley consists of an 8 acre wooded site with plenty of space for a variety of accommodation, children's play area, chickens and pigs(in season) . A woodland walk around the site which is great fun to explore. Self Catering in the heart of Cornwall. Affordable family log cabins in North Cornwall. Set amongst the trees, our eight lodges blend perfectly into their natural surroundings. They provide comfort and warmth throughout the year, with the advantage of a covered walkway and verandah. All lodges sleeping up to 4 adults and 1 child with a sofa bed. There is a well equipped kitchen/diner and bathroom with a shower over the bath or shower only. Guests will also find a comfortable lounge with Freeview TV. The verandah has a picnic table which allows eating alfresco. All bed linen is provided (duvets and pillows). Please bring towels and tea towels. Varying holiday lengths can be accommodated, including one week, fortnights (or longer), as well as short breaks and ten night stays. We have only eight lodges, four bungalows and one caravan. The camping areas are separate. Other things to note No dogs or pets are allowed on site. Check in is from 4.00pm until 7.30pm - Late arrivals by prior arrangement only. No commercial vans or third party/work bookings unless by prior arrangement.
