Our apartment is located in the wine village of Bornich, above the Middle Rhine in the middle of the World Heritage "Upper Middle Rhine Valley" on a foothill of the Taunus heights. The area is in the immediate vicinity of the famous Loreley Rock surrounded by romantic castles, vineyards and forests. The popular premium hiking trail "Rheinsteig" and many other hiking trails and via ferrata lead not far along our apartment. The region is also popular with motorcyclists because of the numerous, winding routes. An excursion by passenger ship to nearby Rüdesheim or Koblenz is possible.
