Unique timber farmhouse near Maastricht

The Stoerderie is a spacious, stylish and surprising vacation home for up to 6 people (plus 2 babies) in the South Limburg Heuvelland, a short distance from Maastricht. You will stay in an authentic timber-framed farmhouse with sauna, courtyard, playground and pizza oven — ideal for families, friends or multiple generations. Peace, space and comfort come together here, with nature and city within easy reach. The space Discover De Stoerderie: an authentic, playful and comfortable vacation home in the Heuvelland, near Maastricht. The oldest part of our square farm was lovingly converted into a spacious, comfortable and child-friendly six-person apartment, with sauna, courtyard and pizza oven. Upon arrival, you enter the spacious private courtyard through the covered farm gate. Here you can, sheltered from sun or rain, sit outside at the dining table or in one of the seats. There are games, a water playground and an infrared sauna to relax. Downstairs you will find the hall, the toilet, the kitchen and the living and dining room. The fully equipped kitchen includes an induction cooker, oven, fridge/freezer and Nespresso machine. In the living room, there is a corner sofa and a large clay stove. Electric floor and wall heating provide extra comfort, ideal during cold winters in South Limburg. On the first floor, the open timber frame with large glass sections provides plenty of light. Here is a bathroom with a walk-in shower, sink and toilet. A staircase higher up is an extra living room with beanbags, games cabinet, books and record player – a nice place to relax and overlook the whole house. From here you can reach the three lockable bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is above the gate and has two separate or linked beds, space for a baby cot and an en-suite bathroom with bathtub. Bedroom 2 also has two separate or linked beds and space for a baby cot. Bedroom 3, cozy under the ridge, has two beds (80x200 cm), a children's desk, puppet theater and marble track – favorite with children, but also suitable for adults. When 2 adults stay here, we bring the bed down from the loft. Outside, you can also enjoy our house meadow next to the cozy courtyard. This is accessible via a gate a few houses away. Picnic in the grass, enjoy the view over the Heuvelland, pick fruit, BBQ or bake pizzas in the wood oven. Jump on the trampoline, race on the go-kart, play a game of soccer, climb the tallest tree... a wonderful place to romp around! The Stoerderie is a special place to be together – Authentic, surprising, cozy and with all the comfort of a modern vacation home. Guest access The vacation home and courtyard are completely at the disposal of our guests. We live in the rear part of the square farm. We share the playground (2500m2) with the guests. If children come to stay, our own children often find it very cozy to play together... But if guests prefer to be on their own, this is of course also taken into account. Other things to note For €12 per person, we will make your bed and towels will be provided. (optional) Bringing your own bed and bath linen is of course also possible. We hope our guests have a fantastic time at "De Stoerderie". But we also want our neighbors to enjoy their living. Our vacation home is therefore not suitable for groups of young people, parties and gatherings where the peace and quiet cannot be respected between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m.
