A unique six-person holiday home in a lovely place in the Heuvelland. If you love a historical character with a modern twist, I'm sure you'll feel right at home here. Perfect for a city trip to Maastricht, Liège or Aachen, but just as easy to walk or bike down the street and into the nature. You keep discovering something new. Both inside (cuddle wall, puppet cabinet, attic slide) and outside (courtyard, covered farm gate, playground and pizza oven). The space The oldest part of our square farm was converted with a lot of love into a wonderfully playful holiday apartment. Upon arrival, you will enter the private courtyard through the large covered farm gate. During hot summers, or when it rains, you can sit outside sheltered here. In the courtyard you will also find a dining table and chairs and various seating areas. In the infrared sauna you can relax. On the ground floor of the house you will find the hall, toilet, kitchen, living and dining room. The kitchen has a fridge/freezer combination, induction stove, Nespresso machine, hot air oven and plenty of crockery, pots, pans and other utensils to unpack Burgundian. In the living room, there is a nice corner sofa. A large clay stove provides coziness and warmth. In addition, there is floor and wall heating. If you take the stairs up, you will see the openwork timber with huge glass part making the space nice and light. On the first floor is the 1st bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. A staircase higher you reach the 2nd living room. A cozy space between the rafters where you can chill in the bean bags. You can find games in the games cabinet, there are books and magazines to read and on the record player turn elpees. From this space you can reach the 3 bedrooms (all bedrooms are lockable with a door): Bedroom 1 is located above the gate, hidden behind the straw bales. There are two 200x80cm beds that can be placed loose or fixed on request. Placing a baby crib with mattress is possible. This room has an ensuite bathroom, with bathtub and sink. On the other side of the attic is room 2. Here, too, there are two beds of 200x80cm that can be placed loose or fixed on request. Here, too, there may be room for a baby cot. A few steps up, snug under the ridge, you will find room 3. Here are 2 beds of 80x200cm. The room gives a bit of the "bedstee feeling" In this room there is a small children's desk and under the loft bed the puppet cabinet has been realized. A large marble court has been made against the wall. This room is greatly appreciated by children, but it can also be used by adults. Are you very tall? Then the room may be a little too cozy for you. Special is that you can vacation on "De Stoerderie" on your own property: Our house meadow can be reached via the gate a few houses away. You can have a nice picnic, sunbathe, play soccer, go-kart, romp, apples, plums or cherries, pick walnuts, BBQ or bake fantastically crunchy pizzas in the wood oven. Guest access The holiday home and courtyard are completely at the disposal of our guests. We ourselves live in the rear shared of the carré farm ourselves. We share the playground (2500m2) with the guests. If children come to stay, our own children often find it very nice to play together. But if guests prefer to be on their own, that is of course also taken into account. Other things to note For €12 per person we make your bed and towels are ready. (optional) Bringing your own bed and bath linen is of course also possible. We hope our guests are having a fantastic time at De Stoerderie. But we also grant our neighbors to their enjoyment of living. Our vacation home is therefore not suitable for groups of young people, parties and gatherings where peace between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. cannot be respected.
