A relaxing home with a garden

It is an ancient house, with ample patio and terraces, in the old town of Presicce, one of the finest villages in Italy, with free parking nearby. 50 m from St. Andrew's Church and the St. Andrew's Column. It is near the main road leading to the seaside and the freeway. The renowned seaside of Lido Marini and the Maldives of Salento, on the Ionian coast, are only 7 km away. The Adriatic coast is 12 km away. Santa Maria di Leuca, the southernmost tip of Apulia is 16 km south of Presicce. The space This old star-vaulted self-contained house (140 mq), has been finely restored preserving its characteristic features. High tuff walls surround the garden, so that it becomes an airy, quiet, protected, private and exclusive extension of the house. Characteristic tuff walls surround the luxuriant Mediterranean garden and the wide patio, equipped with a shower. Awnings provide shadow. The dwelling has lighting installed also in the garden. It is furnished with wooden doors and double glazing, armoured iron shutters, and underfloor heating, iron and ironing board, hob and oven, microwave oven, coffee machine, mixer, toaster, cooking equipment, crockery; vacuum cleaner and cleaning products; linen. Cold/hot water shower, garden lounge suite, chairs and sunbeds, a barbecue, an aluminium and glass table and eight chairs are available outside. Guest access The ground floor, 140 square meters, is for rent and can accommodate up to 8 people. It is ideal for families and groups of friends. How to get to Holiday Rental Pietrastella in Presicce: By car Arriving from north: motorway to Bari, then freeways SS16, SS379, SS613 to Lecce. Before getting to Lecce, take “tangenziale ovest” (west ringroad), follow directions to Gallipoli, continue along SS274 in the direction of Santa Maria di Leuca, and turn off at the exit Presicce/Lido Marini. By train Local trains (Ferrovie del Sud-Est, now Trenitalia) depart from Lecce to all destinations in the Province. In summer, there bus services to Presicce. Taxi is an alternative, though it can be expensive. By plane From Bari or Brindisi there is a shuttle bus to Lecce, then as above.
