The entry foyer/sitting area features tall casement windows flanking the door and lining the south wall, bathing the room in light. The living room has a beautiful gas fireplace adorned by its original tile surround. Flanking the fireplace is a set of stunning peacock relief tiles. To the right of the fireplace is a bank of windows, including two fixed and one casement window. The north wall of the living room incorporates an impressive array of finely crafted floor-to-ceiling arch-topped “church” windows and doors. To the right of the north windows, you can walk through a passageway to an office/sitting room/foyer. This room flows into the dining room with many period details. The southeast corner of the dining room leads to the three bedrooms. Each of the guestrooms is furnished with upscale, quality hotel-like sheets, two bathrobes, iron, ironing board, fan, luggage rack and bedside chocolates. One bedroom has a king size bed, one bedroom has a queen bed, while the third bedroom has a full-size bed. The main bathroom was remodeled using reproduction pedestal sink and fixtures with a nod to the period-appropriate style and includes a bathtub/shower combination. Upscale towels, toiletries, and hair dryer provided. One of the bedrooms includes access to the half bathroom, that includes a toilet and small sink only. This bathroom can also be accessed from the kitchen. The large galley kitchen with breakfast sitting area has subway tile countertops and stainless-steel appliances, including new double ovens that were recently installed. The kitchen flooring was recently updated. The home sits on an oversized lot. You’ll really appreciate the large and very private walled in backyard includes a covered outdoor sitting area with gas grill, and a large grassy area with a variety of fruit trees, roses and other colorful plants and flowers.
