The street is also a cul-de-sac with only a few homes, so no traffic and very safe. If you would like to explore the vast arroyo park across the street and past the bridge …please ask for my key to the gate and enjoy! SUITE’S LOCATION inside the home: The guest suite is inside the home and up the stairs on the top level towards the front of the house... where the beautiful views are. PRIVACY: The suite is in a Private Wing. The hallway has a solid wood hallway sliding door with the main bedroom, large private bathroom, and a private terrace. You will feel like you are in your own world as soon as you slide the hall divider shut. Plus..this home was custom built to block sound. It is so quiet. I never hear guests & they never hear me. Often we meet at check in and never cross paths again. So for being a suite in a home, with the host on site...it never feels like it...I feel like I am home alone and you will too. SUITE FEATURES: WORKSPACE: The suite has a desk, air printer, spare monitor, and strong WiFi. KITCHENETTE: Located in the suite is… -Coffee bar with an electric kettle as well. Coffee pods and Oatmeal provided to get you started. -Microwave is also a convection oven/airfryer…so it bakes and crisps as well as reheats. -Minifridge with cold water dispenser -Freezer in mini fridge is not very useful. If additional freezer space is desired I can place an electric ice chest that cools to freezing in the suite. And ice is always available in the main kitchen. TV: Smart TV with DIRECTV, Netflix, Hulu, and more already subscribed and logged in WATER: Our whole house water purification is amazing!! It is purified just like bottled water out coming out of all the taps. SCOOTERS: Borrow my seated electric scooters to explore Pasadena or to get to the Rose Bowl. They can climb hills with no problem and have miles of range per charge!! PARKING: Free street parking for 1 vehicle. Rose Bowl Residents Parking Pass included. Which can get you around the traffic in minutes..or borrow my scooters because it is only walking distance away!! Guest access The Suite is Not a Separate Unit: It is located in the home on the top level. Guests use the main entrance and walk through shared spaces. However, you will rarely encounter any of us in them. You will feel like the only one here 99% of the time. Guests are welcome to use the laundry, main kitchen, and outdoor BBQ at anytime. During your stay I work from home and use my master bedroom workspace most of the time. But I’m a text message away to help with anything you need. Other things to note When outside- SOME FREEWAY NOISE: Outdoors there is a white noise hum….but It is not noticeable inside. I tested the room with a guest and they agreed that with the door and windows locked shut you can’t hear anything. Ear plugs are available on the desk for those with sensitive hearing. MAGGIE: A Pomeranian lives here and believes it’s her job to guard the house. She is all bark no bite, super cute, and harmless. I keep her out of shared spaces as much as possible. REAL LIFE: I am mostly an empty nester with my teens staying here on random weekends but they are respectful. Life happens…I work, have places to be, get sick, clean out closets, days where I just don’t want to, you name it. But I do my best to make sure they have no effect on the peacefulness of your stay here. Please read the house rules carefully to avoid any fines listed in them. Especially the one for blocking my neighbor’s mailbox when you park. Thank you for understanding.
