Creekside Getaway, Quiet Wooded Lot Close to Town

Creekside Getaway is a newly renovated space in an older home located in a safe, established, wooded neighborhood. Our 300 sqft basement studio (one open room) apartment is perfect for friendly couples, small groups, & young families who are looking for a cozy place to land after the day's adventures. We are 2.2mi to downtown Black Mountain & 23min drive to downtown Asheville. Surrounded by an abundance of nature, mature trees, & wildlife including bears. The space Our cozy, well-equipped, ~300ft2 studio suite is in the basement of our home with assigned parking and private entrance. This space is ideal for 2 guests (queen size bed) but can accommodate up to 3 with our adult size roll away single bed (available upon request) or on the loveseat (for guests under 4’-6” / 55” tall). Additional bedding can be provided if requested (including for the loveseat). The suite has its own kitchenette with a sink, mini fridge w/ freezer, microwave, Foreman grill, coffee maker, & toaster. There is also an open closet area with rack for hanging clothes, a full private bathroom with tile shower, bedroom ceiling fan, electric fireplace for ambience, high-speed internet (WiFi), Alexa for music, and a 32” TV with Roku including Netflix, Hulu, Disney +, and local stations for you to enjoy when not outside enjoying the beautiful scenes. We do live in the upstairs portion of the home with our children and 2 indoor/outdoor cats. If we are here, you may hear us however, we will be as quiet as possible during your stay. THE YARD: There are several shared outdoor spaces for you to enjoy including multiple sitting areas, 2 firepits (1 is creekside), 2 hammock areas, and a playground area that includes: large tree house, trampoline, bench swing, 4 swings, flat-ish greenway (meadow), cargo net, 190ft self-braking zipline, and creek access. Check out the second to last pic for map of our property for feature highlights, you'll have access to the whole property minus the deck. We prefer to keep our entire property smoke and vape-free. It is extremely difficult to rid our space of these odors and we like to keep things smelling fresh for our next guests! Guest access We offer private parking and a well-lit walking path leading around to back of the lower garage to private entrance. *Additional parking is available. ADDITIONAL ACCESS, if needed for parking / entrance: Upon request, we can provide you the lower driveway and access to the condo through the lower garage. The driveway is flat and wide (~11'), the path is flat and well lit, and the door is 36" wide. Tell us how we can accommodate you & we'll do all we can. Other things to note 1. Our entire property is a smoke and drug free environment. Alcohol is totally fine for guests of age. 2. We offer options for outdoor cooking. Let us know if you'd like information about what we have on property. 3. PETS: We are dog-friendly (no cats)! We allow well behaved dogs: 1 large dog or up to 2 small dogs. PET FEE - $30 one-time fee at booking. We have a large dog crate available upon request. **We request that dogs not be left indoors for more than 2 hours at a time alone (unless crated) and are kept off furniture. 4. Our property uses a septic system. Please be prepared to flush ONLY toilet paper (no "flushable" wipes please) We take pride in our home, yard, and Airbnb apartment. We’ve enjoyed Airbnb stays across the country and want to provide you the awesome experience that we would want for ourselves as well as enable you to experience a taste of Black Mountain during your time on our grounds.
