Escape to The Riverhouse Getaway – Your Private Riverfront Retreat Tucked away on four acres of woodland, our house offers over 1,000 feet of private riverfront, perfect for kayaking, rafting, tubing, fishing, or simply unwinding and reconnecting with nature. This cedar-sided, custom home has floor-to-ceiling windows that offer magnificent views in every direction. We are located 2 hours from NYC and 2.5 hours from Philly. An unforgettable home designed to create lasting memories. The space Every room of our house was designed to bring the outside in. 🛋️ Main Floor – Built for Gatherings The layout is open and airy, with the main level seamlessly connecting the kitchen, den, living room, full bathroom, a large deck, and a screened-in porch. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything and anything to serve everyone.  Espresso Machine, Coffee machine, air fryer, juicer, mixers, grinders, graters, Belgian waffle maker, every size of pot, pan, dish, glass, bowl, slow cooker, and dim sum steamer. Make a quick snack or cook Thanksgiving dinner. It's all there. The fridge is stocked with condiments, and the cupboards have all the basics—you’re welcome to use whatever’s there. The den offers a wood-burning stove and access to an enormous deck overlooking the river. It's a perfect place to watch Bald Eagles, wildlife, and river floaters. In the winter, when the river freezes, it is spectacular! BBQ on a large Weber grill. The living room is furnished with two large couches, an Apple TV system, the entrance to a screened-in porch & a 10-seat dining table - perfect for large meals, giant jigsaw puzzles, & board games! . 🛏️ Upstairs – The Master Suite Retreat Wake up to stunning sunrises from the king bed overlooking the river. Step onto your private deck, or soak in the jacuzzi tub with a view. The scenery here is unforgettable. 🧘‍♂️ Downstairs – Workout, Relax, Repeat A wall of glass doors frames what might be the best view of the river. Exercise, read, throw darts, or sit and gaze at what might be the best view of the river through glass doors that span the length of the space. Get your workout on a Nordictrack treadmill with a barbell and weights, a full set of dumbbells, a rower, and all the stretching, massaging, and rolling gear that come with the workout. Head outside to sit in the hot tub and lounge under a covered patio. The downstairs space also has two bedrooms & a full bathroom.  🛌 Guest Suite Over the Breezeway Across the breezeway is a bedroom with a queen bed, full bathroom and a desk to work if needed. 🛁 Extras That Feel Like Home (But Better) In general, we are a well-stocked house. All bathrooms are stocked with luxury soaps, hair products, and lotions, and the beds are set up with new Company Store Egyptian cotton bedding & clean new pillows. 🌊 The Riverfront Experience Our property is perfect for kayaking, tubing, fishing, swimming, snorkeling, and exploring the woods. Follow the path down to the river and hang out on lounge chairs at the river's edge. In addition to a hot tub, two decks, two covered patios, a screened-in porch, and a fire pit, we have created quiet sitting areas throughout the property.  🌧️ Rain or Shine – This Place is Magic One of the most magnificent experiences in this house is when "weather" happens. We see rain, lightning & hailstorms, snow blizzards, or even a shower of leaves during the Fall. Trees fall (amazing to hear & see), and the power can go out. But we have a whole system generator that will automatically kick on. This is a pet-friendly property. We have placed blankets around the house that are meant for you to drape on furniture for your pet to sit on. Guest access Guests will have access to the property in its entirety. Free Tesla charger. Other things to note There are two security cameras on the property. One views the driveway, and one views the entryway for security purposes. If you’d like to enjoy the river from our property—whether you're swimming, floating, or using the kayaks, tubes, or rafts—we’ll just need you to sign a quick safety waiver first.
