Welcome! We have just completely renovated our home and it is waiting for you! Come to this quiet neighborhood hideaway, to relax, refresh, and make memories. Equipped for all ages, The Harriman Retreat, welcomes you to visit family, view the renowned Niagara Falls, explore downtown Buffalo and head to Bills Stadium all in 25 minutes or less. Upon entering the gate, you will use the code to enter the house with ease! You will have a small landing where you can remove your shoes and go up to the kitchen (to the left) or go downstairs and inspect your awesome rec room! You will find a fully stocked, newly renovated and completely modern kitchen with a gigantic sink and brand new stainless steel appliances. You'll find your full Brita and variety of Keurig coffees and teas to welcome you to our home. Equipped with just about every cooking utensil, plenty of pots and pans, dishes, etc no need will be unmet. You can cook (or not) to your hearts desire. You will walk into the cozy living room with hues of grey surrounding you, a fireplace to warm the atmosphere and a large screen smart tv, ready to indulge you in all of your streaming pleasures. Please be advised cable is not provided so please depend on your active streaming services for your entertainment needs. As you walk through the hallway, you will be met by the first bedroom, sporting a luxurious Purple Mattress queen bed. Continue to the left and you will find our twin bedroom, set up as two twin beds with a vanity to boot. With notice, a special request can be made to convert this twin bed into a second king bedroom (this is an extra $30 fee). Lastly the first full bathroom is beside the two bedrooms, and is fully updated. To the right of the first floor hallway, is a stairwell leading up to your King Bedroom Suite. There you will find a private hideaway, with a recumbent bike and dedicated work desk for your personal or business needs. Continue through to The DreamCloud Premier Hybrid King mattress with premium linens. Finding your suite to also include a sitting area, electric fireplace and smart tv (for your personal subscription use). You'll also find a dvd player for your movie loving indulgence. Hidden away in the cubby of the room is a toddler bed should you need one. Finally, the suite is equipped with its own full shower bathroom, for your privacy and comfort. The basement rec room is fully stocked with toddler toys, family games & puzzles, a wii with only family friendly games, another large screen smart tv and foosball table. This couch may also be used for sleeping. You will also find a laundry room and quaint sitting area if you want to spread out. The backyard is ready for your time of R&R. We have both a propane and small charcoal grill. An outdoor dining table and sitting area are provided in your fully fenced yard (not completely private from neighbors). There is a childrens play house and toddler trampoline, as well as a wood fire pit for your entertainment (you provide the wood). Please be mindful of the close neighbors, feel free to enjoy all ammenities but please keep the noise down after 10pm. A quick note about our child friendly house: there is a booster chair, pack and play, toddler bed, top of stairs and bottom of stairs gate, a white noise machine, and lots of kid friendly activities. Please ask if you are looking for something specific. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoyed preparing it for you! You have access to the entire house, except the basement backroom. The house is in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It is family friendly and safe. The houses are close together though so consideration for neighbors is critical. The Harriman Retreat is just a few minutes off the 290 Colvin Exit. In the heart of the town, you are 5-15 minutes from dozens of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, gas stations and more. 20 Minutes to Niagara Falls 25 Minutes to Bills Stadium 20 Minutes to downtown Buffalo Minutes from Ellicott Creek Park, various other playgrounds and family friendly activities. Tim Hortons is less than 5 minutes Starbucks is less than 8 minutes Tops & Wegmans Grocery stores are 5-10 minutes respectively. The twin bedroom can be converted into a king bedroom for an extra $30. Please indicate this is your desire and we will request the extra payment before arrival. All photography in the house is taken by a local photographer and is available for purchase please inquire about any pieces you love! That same photographer is available for event or family photography if desired, please don’t hesitate to ask.
