Kinlochleven-Eakie House - Upper Floor Flat

Welcoming you all to Eakie House. There is 1 apartment Upstairs. (which you will be renting) and 1 downstairs.. With your own Private entrance, Living room, Fireplace, Bathroom/ shower only. Clothing Washer/Dryer, Stove/Oven and Full kitchen. Please look carefully at photos. Children over the age of 6 years only. A full Fridge/Freezer, Tea/Coffee/Sugar are available. Fresh milk can be found in the fridge. Free Wi-Fi. Free Car parking on site for 1 car only. (If you need additional please ask) The space The Upper Floor apartment, has x1 Double bed and x2 Single beds. A shower only, with Rainfall shower. All Bed Linen, Towels, Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Soap is supplied for you. New Scottish laws are in place, we are only licensed to strictly accommodate 4 guests only. Check in times are strictly from 3pm until 8.30pm You will incur a fine if you have more than 4 guests stay. The Highland Council fines are expensive and you will have to pay if you break the law. We need to make you aware of this. Please only use the Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer in between the hours of 10am until 7.30pm. **** If you are using a Baggage Transfer Company (ie- Travelite or AMS) you can leave your luggage in suggested area and they will pick up. (Details supplied when your booking is confirmed) There is a detailed compendium which explains the house and gives helpful suggestions to enhance your stay. Guest access We have a personal lock box self check in. Once confirmed, we gave you all the check in details. To access your accommodation you will find your door is the Balcony entrance. You will need to walk up the pathway behind the Gas tank. ( Right hand side of house) Signage will guide you on your way. Check in Details will be Confirmed - 24 hours before you are due to arrive through Airbnb booking platform messaging. You will also be given, Jenni the co-host - mobile number for any issues that might come up during your stay. There is also a ring door bell. Jenni is available to answer any questions (8am-9pm daily) before and during your stay, Jenni your host is available to answer any questions before and during your stay by mobile txt or Airbnb messaging. She will take phone calls up to 9.00pm at night. Your detailed compendium is full of helpful and well thought out information. We have a local housekeeper who can give extra help during your stay if it is needed. She does how ever charge a £10 visitation fee though. Other things to note The local village Restaurants, Pubs and Co-Op Supermarket are 10 minutes walk from Eakie House. Front door - Go Left- Walk up Wades Road - take the 1st left on to Kearan Road - walk up Kearan Road - Pass the Medical centre - you will see on the right *Tailrace Pub* and *Rice and Chips Takeaway* (fantastic food) keeping going across the bridge - *Highland Gateway* and local *Co-Op Supermarket* *MacDonald Hotel* - Great Whiskey Bar- (awesome loch veiws and sunset) Go left walk up Wades Road - to the end of Wades Road turn right walk along for 8 minutes you will find it situated on the left side of the road. Keep in mind if you are doing the WHW Trail - across from the MacDonald Hotel is your trail up and out to Fort William. Good Luck and happy hiking on your last day and leg of your journey. ********Please note the halogen heaters are placed through out the house for your personal use to keep you all warm and cosy. Please do not have them running all night. They are made to run 5 to 6 hours at a time. Please beware not to hang clothing or have them near bedding. They do have a safety tip turn off function. Please be careful. The heater on the Hub Living room wall (under table) can be turned on by using the small "Grey Botton" on top, on the right hand side. Please keep gently pushing until it turns "Red" The temperature button can be set at ""22 for a toasty warm room in 15 minutes. The Hub living room lights are on an automatic sensor and will turn off when you leave the room. Please note you need to - 'Shut The Door" for them to turn off.
