"The Overlook" Studio Apartment on Molasses Pond

Experience the beauty of Maine with the fresh water access on the large Molasses Pond and the the call of the salty ocean water not too far away. We are located in Eastbrook about 50 minutes from Acadia National Park. About 30 minutes from the Schoodic National Scenic Byway and the Tidal Falls Preserve. This spacious, sunny studio apartment is a private space with an amazing view in a quiet location. A private sand beach is located across the road with kayaks, hammock and fire pit. The space The open concept feels roomy and relaxing in this tastefully decorated studio with a futon and comfy rocker recliner. WIFI is provided. The studio offers a large TV with DISH TV and a DVD player. Enjoy the beauty around you as you are surrounded by nature. Games, books, DVD movies and puzzles are provided as another way to relax in this peaceful environment. A heat pump provides heating and cooling. A washer and dryer is provided. The apartment is accessed by outside stairs from the paved driveway. Guest access Free parking for two vehicles on asphalt driveway. A well maintained dirt road brings you to the apartment. There is parking for a trailer if you want to bring your boat, ATV or snowmobile. Public boat launch nearby. Other things to note Spend your days at the beach enjoying the water or explore the dirt roads close by that lead to windmills. These well maintained dirt roads are a great opportunity to easily explore the Maine woods. Keep your eyes open for birds, eagles and other wildlife like rabbits and foxes. You might even see a bear or a moose! For the best experience, bring your bike, Side by Side (UTV) or ATV. Beautiful in the fall, great for snowmobiles in the winter. Leave directly from the apartment to access the roads and trail system. Molasses Pond is good for fishing in the summer or ice fishing in the winter. The road is maintained for year round access.
