The Milton View with a pool

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This barn studio boasts a wonderful Mountain View with an incredible sunset from your own front porch, and is close to town. Our Mountain View studio sits close to wedding venues such as The Clifton Inn and Keswick Country Club and numerous wineries are easily accessible. We are a 7 minute drive to Monticello. Peaceful yet convenient. This is our second Airbnb. Sister to The Hidden Gem. Both are housed in our “barn.” The space This is our newest and second airbnb on our property. This barn studio, the Milton View, sits on a 5-acre parcel that once was included in the adjacent 64-acre farm. It is located about 100 yards from our main house and also houses our other airbnb, the Hidden Gem, which is located on the other side. It's a great place to enjoy a peaceful morning sunrise with a cup of coffee on your private covered porch or a glass of wine in the evenings watching the sun go down. Although you will feel like you are in the country, we are only a short 15 minute drive to city center. We are two minutes from the renowned Clifton Inn, a popular wedding destination and 5-star restaurant. Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello is a 7 minute drive and wineries are all around the area. The Milton View boasts a custom tiled walk in shower, king size bed and polished concrete floors. I pride myself on providing a comfy and clean space. I provide my own favorite local coffee, ground fresh prior to your arrival. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. In season, enjoy our own private swimming pool while taking in the mountainous view (pool is seasonal.) All guests have access to use the pool. Please let us know if you will be using the pool past 6:30 pm as we like to swim laps then and can adjust. Pool is seasonal. Usually opens in late April and closes end of September but it’s best to ask before booking. Weather can factor in. Also, Liability Waiver: You understand that swimming in the pool is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming. You accept full responsibility for any bodily harm arising from swimming and hold the owner harmless. You agree to use only plastic cups (provided) when drinking liquid in the pool area. You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur. You understand the risk put forth above and agree that you will assume all responsibility. You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against the owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming. In booking this all guests agree to this Liability Waiver. Guest access Guests have access to our private pool located up by the main house. We ask that if you want to use the pool after 6:30 p.m. that you send us a message and request to do so (we like to swim laps after work usually around 6:30 or so…after that, no worries!) Other things to note There is a fire pit on the property for all of our Airbnb guests to use. Please note this is shared if other Airbnb guests would like to use as well. We provide the wood and kindling.
