Beautiful cottage in an eco-village

Beautiful house in an environment; you will be seduced by its vast and bright spaces, its exposed beams, its atypical bathroom, its modern kitchen, its living room open to the outside on either side, its gas barbecue, its access to the two-hectare park. Welcome to Clos de la Louve! The space We are a young collective who acquired this beautiful 17th century building in 2023 to create a shared habitat and an ecological gite. We are committed to welcoming you to spaces that combine the charm of the old with a resolutely ecological management of places and resources. You will therefore stay in an "eco-village", in an individual cottage of 155 m2 with its own access, on two floors. You will have access to: - a fully equipped kitchen (ground floor) - a large and beautiful room (32m2 + 13m2 bathroom) with exposed beams and high ceiling, in which the bathroom is located (attention, no separation wall, see photos) - 5 single beds - one triple bedroom (floor) - a 60 m2 living/dining room (ground floor) - an extra shower near the kitchen (ground floor) - two separate toilets (upstairs and ground floor) - Parking These spaces are completely self-contained, and you will share with the locals the two hectares of land that invites you to stroll, with its orchards, its swing, its wooded corners, its French alleys. You will have walking access to the church of Cramans; to a beach on the Loue river; to the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans. Less than an hour away by bike, you can go to the Chaux forest and its 14th century barracks, Arbois, Salins-les-Bains. A little further (by car, or by ter) you can go hiking on the plateaus of the Jura mountains. During your stay may be organized yoga sessions, board game evenings, workshops… feel free to check out the organization's calendar and join us if you wish! What is a schoolyard? We do everything we can to reduce our carbon footprint and our impact on the environment: Marseille soap and white vinegar for the maintenance of cottages, solid soaps and shampoos, local products, 5% discounts for all people who will come without a car (we are 35 minutes walk from Arc-et-Senans train station)... Renting out the cottages allows us to renovate and develop the building in order to reduce its footprint and to share this way of living on the land, respecting its limits, with as many visitors as possible. We are also delighted to meet people and talk about our project: do not hesitate, if you feel like it, to come and chat with the locals! Other things to note We want to keep prices accessible, either for rental and cleaning, and for that we ask that you make the kitchen clean and empty the garbage cans in the corresponding bins. Linens (sheets and towels) are not provided. It can be rented for 10€ per person, per stay. Bed size: 90x190. Soap, toilet paper, salt, pepper, spices, tea towels, sponges, cleaning products are provided.
