There are several bodies of waters nearby, from the Yuba river to the iconic Donner Lake, making kayaking and fishing perfect summer activities. During the winter months, Sugar Bowl Ski Resort is just minutes away for world-class skiing. And our personal favorite, sledding on the open hills just behind the cabin! Be sure to bring your sleds! Other things to note 4WD or chains may be required on I-80 during winter months.
